    For SIG "P" Series pistols:
Check the numbers on the sights = 6 or 8
Check the SIG website to determine if and what number to change to to make adjustments in point of impact

For the price of most aftermarket tritium sights SIG will check out any older P226, replace any pins or springs that need it AND install brand new SIG tritium sights...

Should use a pencil to make a light mark where the old sight sits so you can line it up just about perfect when the new one goes on. Thanks for the confidence video though! Going to change mine now

If you’re concerned about eyesight, I highly recommend the XS DXT2 big dot sights from XS Sights. They’re big, accurate to long range and short range, and are non-obstructive to your peripheral vision. Unlike other sighting systems that focus on surrounding the front sight post for an accurate shot, the XS big dot sighting system focuses on just placing a dot on top of a notch, which leaves all the room on the sides to see what is surrounding your target. Not to mention, this also aids in front sight focus especially when your eyes get older. I am not older, but I suffer from short-sightedness, and for me these sights are a must.

Don’t worry. They have a website you can go to so you’re not buying a faked product from china. Lots of people are imitating them because they’re so good.

Thanks for the info. I installed the XS Big Dot sights on my FNS9. Very bright front dot!

I just got a new P229 and for the life of me can't figure out the proper hold. I know it is supposed to be a combat hold but it's not working for me. Haha

Have you tried using a rest to minimize any movement? If not, try a rest and use different holds to see which one works best.

You have multiple issues with the gun and need to have it looked at by a gunsmith before you try to use it.
