- Hi everyone! I took some time out in Devon & thought I'd share a vlog including a vintage tram ride between Seaton & Colyton + have a look around the antiques centre & charity shops! I picked up a few thrifted items so I've also got a haul for you, woohoo! :)

Grew up in south London,worked in Lilly and Skinner on Oxford Street in 1958,now live in USA .I tried to tell my American grand kids what it was like to come downstairs on a double decker bus in high hills while bus was moving.Your bus trip brought it all back .Pretty scary ,good thing I was young .I'm really enjoying your vlogs Thankyou

Hi Iwan, I’ve been watching your videos for 3 years now and you’re my favourite TH-camr! Never commented before but this vlog was the best. Love Seaton, the Tramway and the Estuary - this makes me want to visit there again soon. This was all about what makes me happy - mooching around interesting little shops, a walk along the river spotting wildlife, and then getting involved with tea and cake. Growing up, we used to have an elderly lodger, he was from Devon, he was the loveliest Gentleman you could ever meet so it was so nice to see his neck of the woods. Brought back some lovely Memories for me. Thanks Mr C excellent as always ;-)

Welcome to Devon! You made me want to pop back to Seaton. Living in Devon, we never visit other towns much. If you come back and want some serious charity shopping, you need to go to Heavitree, St Thomas and Exeter! I thrift for a living and there is so much treasure down here x
Those little old trams are adorable! And such an idyllic trip on a tram to countryside, - wow!
You have such a soothing voice.. beautiful scenery.i will never see england so I enjoy this very much and the music is so relaxing for the soul.its a Sunday morning here in the states at 5:30 in the morning and I am enjoying watching this as I drink my herbal tea..it looks Ike a gorgeous prefect day there..the nights here have turned exspecially cool..winter is coming in like a lion here..love your vlogs..

I would so love to go visit there . The trams are gorgeous and the scenery amazing . I like critch tramway museum . I spied a lot of things from my childhood in the charity shops the Noddy hoop game been one of them . Maybe one day I could go buts it's a long way for me to drive to. Thanks for the lovely vlog.
Brought back memories of when we holidayed there about 20 years ago. Rode on the tram with my Mum, Dad, hubby and two children. Also remember a lot of the book characters and annuals. Glad you had a good time. X
Hi Mr. C! Ok I'm absolute in love with those quaint little towns you visited. They're so charming and the tram you took reminded me of something out of the Thomas the Train cartoons. Was that your adorable dog? So exciting to see what goodies you find in those charity shops. That children's section in Colyton really took me back to my own childhood. I've recently renovated my apartment from top to bottom. The finishing touches were delivered last week and I gotta say, watching TH-cam on a 65" TV is an elevated experience!! I loved this cozy vlog with all the beautiful scenery and the charity shops! Thanks for a great start to my Sunday Mr. C!! 😊 Hope everyone has a lovely day 🌻 Edited to add: Just HOW small were people's feet back in the day?! My clumsy self would have surely tripped down those tram steps 😂

What a lovely day out, Mr C. That vintage tram was wonderful, everything kept in pristine condition, and I loved the little villages. You pointed out the green Victorian gentlemen's toilet, which made me wonder - obviously Victorian ladies did not need such facilities!

Wow stunning, felt like I was on holiday. Just what I needed after a busy Sunday.
Those little villages in Devon are so sweet. Love the little coloured cottages they have there. Spotted a few things that I own in the shops as you went round. I have a canteen of those bone handled fish knives and forks that I inherited from my mum. Great purchases xx

Beautiful vintage village and I enjoyed seeing your tram ride. Lovely bargains and interesting things to see in the vintage store. I spotted the Wombels book which is a throw back to the early eighties and I used to watch the Wombles on tv
Lovely vlog I went to lyme regis two weeks ago and went into the gingerbread shop I saw those flowers and vase I wish I had pick some up now I also got a book from there on foraging lyme regis is probably now one of my favorite places you had some amazing finds in the charity shops

Hi Ewan. To stop lumps on any tee shirt or clothing, simply hang then inside out. If a lump does form then it will be on the inside. Yes those hangers are better but that is a sure fire way of keeping the lumps out.
I’ve been to all of the places in this vlog but don’t recall the tram. I missed it - don’t know how 😂😂 Anyway, thank you. It was so relaxing to watch and was exactly what a perfect day in Devon would look like for me. Hope you enjoyed your break.

I saw a few things that took me back to being a child, those rabbit ornaments in the antique shop and of course Tony Hart on the book. I love season we go there on holiday each year ,but haven’t been for a couple of years because of the pandemic hope you enjoyed your time there and had a nice break and lovely finds you had brought take care xx
