Oh how this brings back so many memories. I was that little girl dancing with the scared feathers. I use to dance for my grandma and travel with my grandma to firedances.

AMAZING FOOTAGE ......showing a Sacred Ritual, showing a scene that no one today is allowed to see, unless they are Tribal members...It is a BEAUTIFUL WAY to live , and this Ceremony is STILL going on , just as in the ancient times.....

The children so cute love Navajo culture. I’m Montagnards jarai tribes , we believed spirited too.

This is the first I've ever heard of the feather dance. And the last dance I never heard of either.

10:55 - Beautiful Poem. It sounds more Christian than pagan.
The curtain of daybreak is hanging.
    The Daylight-Boy, it is hanging.
From the land of the day it is hanging.
Before Him, as it dawns, it is hanging.
Before Him, in beauty, it is hanging.
From His voice, in beauty, it is hanging.
