My friend ,uv got a lot to learn if not an operator, a 955 is not worth a hoot when it is soft,dry weather your in good shape, and a 955 has no fuel gauge by the way. Iv ran a 955 all my life I'm 58, I have a very nice one to this day ,iv owned it for 30 years I'm the 2nd owner, it is a work horse.
I'm thinking about getting two maybe three of the 955 C, L. One is a 58 the other is a 61. I wasn't looking to get any new old projects but then I was happily kicking down Craigslist Way and tripped and fell over a couple of 955's and now they are trying their best to follow me home. I do admit, I had an old can of 30w in my pocket and those old Cats can smell Delo 400 from a mile away, so I hear. Thanks for the Video lots of good info. What Forum do you subscribe to for these old Cats? I may need to check that out. I have used Yesterdays Tractor and Red Power but they don't do Cat. I guess Cats are a beast all their own. HeHe :) It might have something to do with one is agriculture and the other is industrial
olá Boa noite! sou brasileiro e comprei uma 955 e Está com alguma probleminha, assoprou no radiador mais já estou tesouvendo isso, trocando todas as ante câmeras , mas ela também está virando só para um lado, e não sei se é 955k ou 955l se algum amigo puder me assessorar vou ficar grato , estou muinto animado com esse máquina e vou arrumala toda pois estou mui To animado com essa aquisição! critique quem quiser.
Olá companheiro, recém adquiri uma 955L e fiquei impressionado com a robustez da máquina. É uma máquina com múltiplas utilidades; muita potência para escavação, serve para carregamento e para empurrar terra e resíduos. Para quem que uma máquina multifuncional e potente, compre uma destas. Comprei para um trabalho que preciso fazer no sítio e, assim que terminar o serviço talvez resolva vendê-la. Pena que não tenho os manuais de operação e manutenção, porém vou adquirí-los pela Internet.
@@silvionascimento2606 Meu amigo, ainda não sei como é a manutenção do material rodante, aliás, não sei quase nada sobre máquinas. Mas, pelo que ando lendo em sites e forum sobre a 955L, parece que é montada sobre chassi de D4D. Assim, creio que mecânicos que já lidam com esse tipo de trator saberão fazer a manutenção, caso seja necessário.
@@antoniojoaquimrodrigues3729 quase comprei uma hoje ,seria um sonho ter uma dessas pois para o meu serviço de aterro serviria muito bem pois além de não furar pneu eu teria uma pá carregadeira ,um mecânico da região me assustou dizendo para eu fujir pois pra trocar material rodante poderia ficar até uns 50 mil.

Next time you go to pull the fuel tank or do any major work like that you might think about pulling off the roll cage first.

Those batteries wont hold up. Next time buy the group 31 Diesel start battery. 950 Cold cranking amps
