Thank you very much, this video help me to decide to buy A35 5G 16990 php or 290 USD 256G 8GB RAM, I already using this for 1 month. Never let me down. 👍
For me, the A54 wasn't about necessarily overheating. Like I didn't feel it overheating personally my hands or anything. I'm just stating that I was having weird accidental touches, one of my theories was that it could be throttling the processor because of a little bit of heat. And GSM arena did confirm that there was some throttling going on. My point is the A35 5g has a little better sustained performance
I had an A71 and was looking to upgrade. I got a A15 because there was a great deal on it. After 2 weeks, I couldn't stand it. Traded it in for the A35 and what a difference. Excellent phone for the cost.
I bought this phone when my A52 4G suddenly broke down and could only be repaired for around 75 Euro. So, why not get a new one, getting 5G as well. The A55 was way too expensive for me (could get it but refused to pay that much) and so I went with the A35. Sadly, it was so new that I had to get it for the full price, being 379 Euro. Only two weeks later it dropped to the range of 329-349 so... well. That's how it goes, bad timing. But I am REALLY surprised. The only real difference with the A55 seems to be the metal frame (who needs that, everyone uses some form of protective sleeve anyway) and the relatively small upgrades along the way: slightly better processor and a better 50MP camera eye if you go the A55 way. All that costs a whole lot more. The current line of Ax5 phones is remarkable. With each step you get some extras and I would advise to stop where you honestly think it's your price level. Mine was at something between 325 and 380, so I got this one. If I had slightly less to spend, the A25 would have been good too, but I can also really get why you could go for the A15. And even then, there's a 4G budget version for you, cutting 30 Euro off the price. The A05s is a different thing, that one should be way cheaper, because in certain markets it costs about as much as the A15 4G and it is hardly in the same league. The big plus here: you get four Android upgrades and five years of security upgrades.
I hear you. Just remember that every year, or most years, technology will get cheaper. So one year they will have one processor come and the next year they typically upgrade. So it does make sense that the lower end phone the next year would be fairly similar.
You paid $1,000 for an iPhone 5? In what world 😂😂. That phone is like a century old and it never cost $1,000 even when it launched. I wouldn't pay a can't for the iPhone 5 either. It doesn't even work with 5g either
Seriously it means a ton. I try to do a lot of phone comparisons and explain things the best I can. So thank you so much for your comment. It means the world
Great review! I have the A25 and so far its been great. I probably would have opted for the A35 but it wasn't out yet when I needed to replace my last phone. Overall though the A25 has been great.
@@AndroidDigest For $100 more, would you opt for this over the A25 for the basic user (calls, web surfing)? Is one display easier on the eyes for those sensitive to lights and patterns?
Admittedly, I'm not one to ask about the display being easier on the eyes. For a pretty basic user, I would say the a25 is more than enough. Sometimes it's good to get a little more phone than you need though to make sure you're happy. And between the performance bump, water resistance, there is definitely enough to justify the $100. But still, when you're at this low of a price point that $100 is a massive deal. And if you were a very basic user who maybe came from prepaid phones in the past, I would say anyone like that would really really enjoy the a25 and it definitely is enough. Enough. A lot of people will honestly even enjoy the a15. And for a basic user. I think both of those phones are great. The a35 is one step out of a flagship phone for me. Between the cameras, performance, even the display, it feels like it's just one small step away between that and a complete flagship phone. So it's a very good phone. But not everyone needs what power either
@@AndroidDigest Thanks. Coming from an 8 yr old 2/16GB Samsung J7, either will probably feel like a jet plane.😆 Judging from your vids, the A35 did not seem to have the same diagonal line streaking detected at times on the A25 (the A15 is a no go on this criteria which is a shame as I do prefer the lighter weight). It'll come down to the feel-in-hand test (not a fan of these larger, squared, heavier phones but do like the updates and manufacturing) and like the Gorilla glass for durability though not so much on the back. Not sure how tough the "Glastic" on the 25 is. Anyway, so happy to have found your channel. Had to work a bit to keep pace with you, but nicely balanced reviews with mix of practical info and demonstration that will help various users make a well informed choice.🖒
Both my daughter and I have the A25 and neither of us have had any display issues so far. I would argue this phone goes beyond even a basic user's needs. Honestly, I multitask on it with no issues. My daughter plays games on it all the time, including Genshin Impact, and the only real thing I can say is that if she's playing for a very long time the phone will get a little warm. Other than that, in my experience this phone is plenty fast enough for most people. The only thing I like about the A35 is the thinner bezels and hole punch camera. Just my opinion!
Apparently, according to DxOmark testing, the A35 and A55 display goes up to or over 1600 nits peak brightness, which is higher thsn its advertised 1000 nits peak brightness ( in auto mode) Which actually beats the S21FE peak brightness. Note re- the pixel 7a, the camera deteriorated after the last update, i know as i own one .
@@AndroidDigest yeah, one of my work colleagues has one and it seems fabulous. He says it runs great , no issues whatsoever. He's not a gamer , just a general day to day user. I've seen his photos on his phone, they look great . I've had flagships before, but tend to go for mid rangers nowadays as I never used half the flagship features , plus they're ridiculously expensive now
Thanks so much for this review! it was solid - I really like that you gave good examples of rivial phones and the pros and cons of each. SO appreicated! My phone (Moto G Stylus 2020) is on the outs and buying a new phone has been TAUNTING my existance for the last three weeks. I can't wait to make a final choice so I can finally be done with this process. LOL - I love macro camera's. I take so many photos of flowers etc. and I always seem to be using it. I know I'm a weird one...
For me, I tend to get better close-up shots using the main camera and just zooming in after the fact. That's the only reason I don't love macro cameras, since they typically aren't as good of quality, yes, they are better up close, but I think it's somewhat defeats the purpose whenever you can take a further away photo and crop in and get the same results. If that makes sense. I get wanting to take all the close-ups though. And thank you so much for the comments here. I genuinely mean it when I say it really really means a lot. I try to be different than some other channels, rather than giving a bunch of benchmarks I try to show some actual usage and give real comparisons to other phones that people might know about. I also try to talk about prices because a lot of reviewers give advice that only lasts for like a week because they only talk about the retail price. They don't talk about what sales to expect, and they don't compare those sales to other devices. So people just have a general opinion without a lot of knowledge. I try to bridge that gap. I appreciate you noticing
I've been looking for a phone to be an mp3 player/media device/something to not get calls or texts on. People suggest to buy an older phone but I don't want to deal with battery or security problems, gotta get something modern. Although this phone may be a little overkill for that! It's upsetting to me seeing phones ditch the SD card slot, it feels just like how we underappreciated disc drives in laptops. not everyone is gonna use it, but those with more specific needs greatly appreciate the option. no headphone jack is a compromise but I've been living with that for two years with my Google Pixel 6a. Dongle is inconvenient but at least it's POSSIBLE to still use wired headphones without the jack. thanks for the review! I look forward to testing out this device.
You may want to bump down to the Galaxy A25. Especially for what you're looking for. Yes the A35 will obviously be a lot faster. But for the money, the a25 is pretty good
I just got my A35 5G i replaced my A54 5G because the charging port broke and i called for a repair but that wasnt the case so my carrier sent me the replacement and its pretty much the A54 with a different name lol
It's possible that the environment is making it worse. This phone did not get warmer than other phones I've used. It may get warm, but I will say The performance isn't dipping. It's not going up and down as far as performance. I think the A54 was having weird performance hiccups because of the overheating. I think this phone does a little bit better with heating, and it doesn't have those hiccups, but it does have the same processor so I would expect almost a similar heat level if that makes sense.
Anong mga ginagawa mo sa phone? Gaming? If gaming, anong games? Kung social media lang tas overheating, nako problema. Gusto ko pa naman yan pag save-ban.
To be honest, yes. It does feel a little heavy. I guess some people will associate that with being premium. It's mainly because they're using more premium materials, but it does feel heavy, especially with it being a 6.6-in screen
I have looked at many reviewers before and one thing I thought was odd was that they only ever review something on its RRP. Things always go on sale and I think it is great that you have made this point. I think something to mention on price point would be @ $400 its meh, $350 is decent, and $300 its a bargain. Something along those lines that helps tell you when it can compete as an amazing buy.
This model has a huge limitation! Does not accept external usb -C DAC connected like Shanking UA4. something related with "too much power consumption"... So if you are a music afficionate you should avoid these new models of Samsung like A35 or A55
i have the phone, its actually really good and everything he says is true, but one thing he didnt include (or maybe he did and i didnt listen) while playing games on it, it overheats a little but its not a problem its totally normal but if anyone has a problem with their phone being overheated a bit then yeah but overall great phone
Imo I would say yes. It's gonna get 4-5 years of OS updates, plus it's an overall great midrange phone. The iPhone 11 will barely last a year of 2 more
I just replaced my Pixel 6 with this affordable phone. Im still up in the air kn it, the battery life is not great and doesnt feel as snappy as my Pixel. This does have a nicer display and sound. I have yet to really test the camera.
For me personally, I just haven't had any noticeable differences in a very long time with phones and call quality. Even some people who said the pixels had worse reception, the pixels actually held reception stronger than almost any phone I've had. The only phone I had bad reception on was the nothing phone and that's mainly because it was an international phone not made for the US.
I don't have time to do a camera comparison, but there is a video that does that below. Hopefully that helps th-cam.com/video/XeMG3UtKNYA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-0YMqEwSNUPxbEe6
@@AndroidDigest Thank you for helping; it’s very helpful. In that video, the quality of the cameras seems quite the same between these three devices. I didn’t expect the A35 to be that good.
Hi mate, I still have a question: Is 128GB of storage enough for the next 4 to 5 years (or even 6)? In my country, the A54 with 256GB and the A35 with 128GB are approximately the same price, which makes it challenging for me to choose between them.
I have that phone and my battery life is not bad I get more than 6 to 7 hours I get all day. Of course it does help that I'm using the lower refresh rate.
Well in the US the A55 isn't even available, outside of a store like micro center or on amazon. I guess it depends on the company. If It's within $100 I would always spend the money and get the upgrade I need. But the A35 is very close to the A55. You aren't missing too much. So it depends on prices you see.
If they're both the exynos variants at that point it's just about size mainly. It's a radically different size difference. Battery life is better on the plus too and you get that quad hd display. But the regular s24 has it's perks, I think it depends on the size of phone you want and your budget. Personally I like smaller phones so I'd pick the S24, but some people like larger phones and for them I'd point them to the Plus.
Very close. A35 5G is slightly better all around. I'd pick Pixel photos. A35 battery life. Pixel performance, A35 extra features (better fingerprint, and sd slot). A35 has a larger screen size. So that's just personal preference on what size of phone you want. I'd go with the A35 display too.
@@AndroidDigest appreciate your insight bro ✊🏾 damn these budget phones are getting good 🔥I went with the A54 5g hopefully that’s better than the A35 🤞🏾
Yup. I don't buy IOS phones & Chinese android phones. This would be my second choice after a Pixel. The 3rd one might be the Asus zenfone 10 because of the form factor.
Yes there is. Also. Your dead on there with the 4K video on the selfie camera. My brain melted for a quick second when I said that. I actually just cut it out of the video and it should be removed within a couple of hours. Don't want to spread misinformation.
But you're also going to deal with the battery that is very worn down. You're going to deal with parts in the phone that could go bad at any time. And you will get a lot less software updates on those devices. Those devices are probably done with software updates because back then Samsung wasn't offering the same updates they do today.

It feels like a moderate jump each time, but it's pretty substantial when you go from A15 to A35. I'd say it's still a moderate jump, noticeable from A25 to A35, but again two moderate jumps together make a pretty big one.

Yeah it's a pretty massive jump over the a15
What was wrong with the A15? ,,,,heard it's a great budget phone
I have a15 he just over reacting about a35 @kevinkaol3681
Is it good at processing mid range Roblox games?
Yes it would do good with Roblox
@@AndroidDigest W 🔥, might get it now
I bought this phone when my A52 4G suddenly broke down and could only be repaired for around 75 Euro.
For sure. Great advice and comment
HERE FIRST
also I am mad because the specs of this phone are the exact same as my samsung a54 5g but the a54 was more expensive
I hear you. Just remember that every year, or most years, technology will get cheaper. So one year they will have one processor come and the next year they typically upgrade. So it does make sense that the lower end phone the next year would be fairly similar.
Now imagine how mad those who bought A55 at launch in stores without freebies. The same phone can now be bought at 30% cheaper on our used markets. 😂
I paid $1000 for an iPhone 5. Samsung trade-in was $0. Imagine that.😮
You paid $1,000 for an iPhone 5? In what world 😂😂. That phone is like a century old and it never cost $1,000 even when it launched. I wouldn't pay a can't for the iPhone 5 either. It doesn't even work with 5g either
I'm upgrading to this from a Samsung J7 perx, how significant in terms of improvement will the A35 be?
Your brain will probably explode lol. Waaaay better

Great review, am waiting for the A36 to upgrade from A51. What racing game is thst guys
Mario kart or asphalt legends? I change it up between the two on my channel
@@AndroidDigest thanks man I have subscribed 👍
Watching this review from my A 35 5G. Nice phone actually.
Awesome. Hope you enjoy it
Any battery drain issues?
Great review! I have the A25 and so far its been great. I probably would have opted for the A35 but it wasn't out yet when I needed to replace my last phone. Overall though the A25 has been great.
Yeah I was in a similar situation when I bought the A54. Luckily I was in a return policy when the a35 came out
@@AndroidDigest For $100 more, would you opt for this over the A25 for the basic user (calls, web surfing)?
What game he's playing at 2:45 ? It seems fun.
Mario kart
Apparently, according to DxOmark testing, the A35 and A55 display goes up to or over 1600 nits peak brightness, which is higher thsn its advertised 1000 nits peak brightness ( in auto mode) Which actually beats the S21FE peak brightness. Note re- the pixel 7a, the camera deteriorated after the last update, i know as i own one .
It's pretty great for the price!
Good review
Love from Bangladesh
Thanks so much
Did you experience overheating issues there? Here in the Philippines, it's heating up real fast, just like the A54 with the same chip
@@BeBeautifulAsYouAre I have a friend na Naka A54 and kahit scroll lang sa FB or watch videos on TikTok, umiinit ng malala.
You’re currently in PH with a temp ranging from 34 to 46 degrees Celsius. Phone will definitely heat up if you’re not in an air conditioned room.
how's the in hand feel ? Does this device feel heavy??
To be honest, yes. It does feel a little heavy. I guess some people will associate that with being premium. It's mainly because they're using more premium materials, but it does feel heavy, especially with it being a 6.6-in screen
Great review, thank you, 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad to help!
In Australia, we won't be getting the a74/5 up. I loved my a35-i, got a spare. Shame about the headphone jack.
My iPhone battery percentage display ate battery! Does Samsung? Just got a a35 5g
Exactly!!! You get me
Good job! Thanks.
Thank you so much!
This model has a huge limitation! Does not accept external usb -C DAC connected like Shanking UA4. something related with "too much power consumption"... So if you are a music afficionate you should avoid these new models of Samsung like A35 or A55
Good call out!
i have the phone, its actually really good and everything he says is true, but one thing he didnt include (or maybe he did and i didnt listen) while playing games on it, it overheats a little but its not a problem its totally normal but if anyone has a problem with their phone being overheated a bit then yeah but overall great phone
For sure. Thanks for the comment!

how is the experience after using it for 1 month po? totoo po ba yung sinasabi nilang mabilis uminit yung phone?
Is it worth switching from the iPhone 11
Imo I would say yes. It's gonna get 4-5 years of OS updates, plus it's an overall great midrange phone. The iPhone 11 will barely last a year of 2 more
I am thinking about buying this phone, I found it for 270 euro. Should I buy it or not?
$200 on Samsung website a week ago!
great deal!
pretty good deal!
I just replaced my Pixel 6 with this affordable phone. Im still up in the air kn it, the battery life is not great and doesnt feel as snappy as my Pixel. This does have a nicer display and sound. I have yet to really test the camera.
How is the call quality & 5g signal reception?
I had no issues at all. I go through spotty areas and it maintained good signal personally. But I know that's a little subjective
Thanks for asking. Ironically, of the many reviewers reviewing many phones, there's never mentioning call quality.
Great video! Can you compare the cameras on A35 vs A54?
I don't have time to do a camera comparison, but there is a video that does that below. Hopefully that helps th-cam.com/video/XeMG3UtKNYA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-0YMqEwSNUPxbEe6
@@AndroidDigest Thank you for helping; it’s very helpful. In that video, the quality of the cameras seems quite the same between these three devices. I didn’t expect the A35 to be that good.
I agree with you. I was pretty surprised too
Hi mate, I still have a question: Is 128GB of storage enough for the next 4 to 5 years (or even 6)? In my country, the A54 with 256GB and the A35 with 128GB are approximately the same price, which makes it challenging for me to choose between them.
Is this much better phone than the Moto g Power 2023?
It's a nice step up. Not groundbreaking but definitely a nice upgrade
I plan to buy this phone
That's wonderful
Awesome phone absolutely 💯 2024
I have that phone and my battery life is not bad I get more than 6 to 7 hours I get all day. Of course it does help that I'm using the lower refresh rate.
Good review. Trying to decide to get this or the a15
Thanks. I'd go the A25or A35 rather then the 15, if deciding between them. If you can afford it
@AndroidDigest I got the a35 so far it's a great phone tho some things I miss from the Lg stylo but this is way better
I'm thinking in getting this for my 12 year old. I think it would be a great first phone?
Yeah it would be honestly
Can you review Samsung galaxy A16 5G
Can this play efootball?
Which is a better value for money a55 or a35?
Well in the US the A55 isn't even available, outside of a store like micro center or on amazon. I guess it depends on the company. If It's within $100 I would always spend the money and get the upgrade I need. But the A35 is very close to the A55. You aren't missing too much. So it depends on prices you see.
Which game are you playing? Name?
Mario Kart, Asphalt 9, NBA 2k, call of duty, those are the typical games I play, not sure which one you were looking at but hope it helps
@@AndroidDigest

Absolutely. Thank you for watching
Should I choose the S24 or S24 Plus (Exynos)
If they're both the exynos variants at that point it's just about size mainly. It's a radically different size difference. Battery life is better on the plus too and you get that quad hd display. But the regular s24 has it's perks, I think it depends on the size of phone you want and your budget. Personally I like smaller phones so I'd pick the S24, but some people like larger phones and for them I'd point them to the Plus.
Pixel 7a or Samsung galaxy A35 5g?

Yeah it's a pretty good phone.
Does it support esim?
Yes
Are the haptics actually good? or is it the same crappy motor that the A24 uses?

Buy S21 Fe or S22 Plus if you can better performance better cameras
But you're also going to deal with the battery that is very worn down. You're going to deal with parts in the phone that could go bad at any time. And you will get a lot less software updates on those devices. Those devices are probably done with software updates because back then Samsung wasn't offering the same updates they do today.

is there a big jump from 15 5g a25 5g and this a35 5g?
It feels like a moderate jump each time, but it's pretty substantial when you go from A15 to A35. I'd say it's still a moderate jump, noticeable from A25 to A35, but again two moderate jumps together make a pretty big one.
