The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is a budget midrange smartphone from Samsung. In a nutshell, Samsung made some slight improvements from the A34 5G with the Hole Punch cut out being the most obvious. In this video, we take a look at all the improvements and changes, the pros and coons and if it's worth buying. Enjoy.

After I was done with the review, I gave the A35 to my mum to use. After about a week, she started complaining about the battery life and the phone easily getting hot.
It's either Exynos being Exynos, or there's too many Chrome tab open. Or both 😂

How bad is it
Very hot: Not really. Your mom maybe use a lot a cellular data and cranking the brightness up
Battery life: maybe yes, bcz the 129hz display. For me not
Watching this on my new A35. It's a good phone. The speakers are excellent and I can finally hear wtf people are saying on video calls.

One of the worst Ideas is that these companies are acting like people don't need the 3.5 jack which used by literally every other electronic device, and it's so important and vital to a phone, at leat make it with two type-c port one for charging and one for the earphones head phones

I just got the A34 brand new for $225, that is the real bargain to me right now, save a third for perhaps 10-20% less phone. Mum is very happy with it 😅

Nice review! One tip: storage is not "ROM". You're right to use "RAM" for the memory, but storage is just xxxGB of storage, it's neither RAM nor ROM. A "ROM" is a chip that gets data written to it in the factory and then never changes, like those you'd find in old game cartridges with the game code on them.

I really dig One UI, but for that price, I'm not sure I can forgive 25W, 128GB of base storage, and any stutters or glitches in performance. My Redmi Note 12 4g does stutter at times, but its forgivable since it's a "budget" phone. So for N523k, I'm expecting to escape all that completely considering the difference in price.

had this phone for a few days now. originally wanted the S24 but wasn't prepared to pay the ridiculous price, 3 times the cost of the A35. can someone explain what you get for all that extra cash? took my first outdoor video today. absolutely stunning. can't believe the s24 could be that much better.the a35 is brilliant for the money.
I bought one, great device. I don't game on it or do anything too extreme other than browsing, calls, texts and YT. For that it's more than sufficient and the long software updates means it'll likely be relevant for as long as the phone physically lasts.
I have the galaxy a35 5g but i'm commenting this on Galaxy Tab A8 so far when i set it up it qas hot at start now, it's okay, and yeah, amazing phone, i have the same unit as him

By the way, I have an issue I need your assistance with. The 5g of my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra does not work at all, even in locations with 5g coverage, such as Lagos and Kwara. Please, anyway you could decipher what the problem is? I have seen a few users with the same issues too, and they also don't know why it won't work despite the phone having it.

I'd take those tad thicker bezels with that Beautiful Wide 19:5:9 Screen over some Chinese Branded Bezel less 20:9 Tall Ass Narrow Brick of a Display Anyday. Only Apple and Samsung offer 19:5:9 Wider Screens in the Market and I'm absolutely hooked, it just feels a lot more immersive, it's hard to go back to 20:9 once you've noticed the difference.

did you guys see that fingerprint sensor speed? i didn't notice the facial recognition animation on the camera notch so is it safe to say that it has a speedy fingerprint sensor? The overall design makes it look sooo premium and if you break the glass, that's your skill issue. The bezels look slightly thinner but it looks uniform. Overall it looks very premium compared to last year. I don't think people can call this e-waste easily now.
A series phones are really good, been using one since the last 2 years. Absolutely smooth experience. No lags or glitches on the ui. It has everything you need. And its actually getting better with updates

Strange to see 2100 views. I expected over a million after watching
For me I love the design, the colours included and the style but I'm just sad that the headphone jack was removed and the SIM tray only supports either 1 SIM and SD card or 2 SIMs without SD card 😢.
But I'm currently rocking this phone in the ice blue colour though I don't know if it's expensive here compared to Nigeria as I bought it for 400€

This is a Great review Eugoson! Plz advise me - Should I buy a new A35 or a get a pre-owned S23+?
Personally I like buying new phones . I can't stand the fact the phone's pre owned but if u want a powerful device for gaming and slightly better photos go s23+. Overall I would go for a35 5g , it's more than powerful enough for most things and can handle a little gaming and take good photos.

Omg I just discovered that in my country the a55 is the a35 and that’s why the USA doesn’t get the a55 this year because they technically do get it just under a different name. The design and specs are the same point to point. Even the wallpaper of the phone in the ads is the same

I used Samsung A34 (Mediatek Dimensity 1080) processor for 6 months. I had no heating problems for 6 months. I think the problem is with the Exynos processor.
To choose between A34 and A35 which one would you prefer.

If I was in the market for a Samsung phone this would probably be my choice cause its good enough in every category for the price. Samsung did a GREAT job of making the more budget friendly phones more premium this year,I just dont understand why they chose a glass back and plastic rails around the phone. I would rather have aluminum rails and a plastic back myself 🤷♂

My mother just bought this to replace her old s7. It seemed like a good phone. The operating system was a bit strange when I'm used to Xiaomi phones, but it was easy to use. Especially since Samsung has the app that allows you to transfer everything to a new phone

So, Based on the videos I watched so far I found out:
The A55 has sharper more saturated photos whilst the A35 is slightly cooler and more natural looking
The A55 has slightly better looking night photos & videos
The A35 has sharper , more natural looking selfies and slightly better battery life
Both have good stabilization and audio when recording video and equally good speakers.
For an everyday phone The A35 is 90% similar and with what you get with the A55.
Would you agree with these? (As I'm planning to get one in next 24 hour) Thanks.
