I haven't watched all of your TR113 videos. The one thing I'm interested in is how it performs on SSB; have you done that yet? I don't have the TR113, but I have the lower down the line HRD-757 and it has the same painfully slow SW ATS scan time of over 13 minutes -- makes the feature useless as far as I'm concerned. Most of the transmissions outside of SW broadcast are intermittent, and you'll miss stuff, and you'd never want to do an ATS scan of the amateur bands. The PL-990 is a triple-conversion analog radio with a digital (DSP) detection stage. That's why it doesn't chuff when tuning. Most DSP radios tune and detect digitally; they chuff (or mute) while their electronics resets for a new frequency. The Qodosen SR-286/DX-286 is the only radio I know of that can set the sensitivity of an ATS scan.
Slow scanning and inability to specify sections of HF for scan is a MAJOR problem with the 919, and I assume with Retekess version as well. Compare that with something like the Tecsun 8800 and other portables. Other issues: Soft muting is a hard no for many considering this receiver. And in recent tests I have discovered some major breakthrough of FM/AM signals on to HF ranges. We can only hope that Hanrongda comes up with some changes in 2025!
Thanks for your comments. I have to agree. I am hoping they will come out some fixes via a firmware update. I like the diaplays and many features but it is hard to over look these basic problems. Have a great day.
Correction: There are 200 memory storage locations for each band.
@@hamrad88 thank you
Very nice 👍

Thanks for the useful information. The Qodosen is on my wishlist. Have a great day.
