Just got one of these today. Still learning the functions but I can't hear any difference between any of the EQ settings or even a custom EQ. Audio tone does not change on mine.
@@hamrad88 I checked for and installed updates before trying EQ so don't know if EQ worked before updates. I listen mainly to talk radio and most male voices seem boomy and bassy and wanted to cut bass and boost highs but I get no change with EQ.
It looks like a nice radio, but not having FM on the U.S. version is a bit of a bummer. What if the aggregator goes out of service or becomes obsolete? At least the FM would've still been there. Thank you for posting the video and have a good night.

Does this radio use the skytune internet radio stations aggregator? Also does it provide a web interface once you enter the ip adress of the device into a browser?
It uses Airable service. Not sure about your second question.

@@hamrad88 Thank you for that information! I have an Ocean Digital WR23D and the UI has a striking resemblance to the one you showed in that radio. The Ocen Digital features a web server where you can edit favorites in your browser. As this devices seems to use Airable, Favourite management might be able to be done using an app on the smart phone.
Retevis(Ra-T-Vus) makes walkie-talkies, Retekess(Ret-A-Kess) makes radios like yours. Are you mixing the names up? You know how it is with this Chinese translation; it's a tough one.
There are so many Chinese radios that are the same but have different company names attached to the same units. Your Retekess most likely is a Retevis and probably others out there are the same thing. How many HanRongDa's Retekess', Raddy's, Zhiwhis' etc are the same thing just different names on the units and, at times, different prices, some a better deal than others. The names associated with the ATS 120 SDR radios is endless
Looks interesting. Looking forward to further reviews. Thanks as always for all your work!
Looks like a nice radio, Tom.. I too have a few internet radios that went quiet..
Yes, that is a bummer.
I have a roberts 94i its a nice radio but had to reregister it with a different service last month.
if its getting feeds from broadcastify the delays are quite a few seconds from actual calls..

Interestung. I had the same question and sent them an email to see if you could do that as the database is 70,000 stations.
