yo da man! thanks very much, well i do believe i have the best drywall fixers and best drywall finishers on the channel, not including those beautiful fancy ceilings they create some places in middle east
Lead guy looks very familiar and comfortable with hand-tools, they seem to be a very experienced and efficient crew. Top-shelf all-round - i enjoy your video's...
Love how he back and forths the measurements for that cut over the bath tub and window as if he couldn’t just pencil a few on the floor. Are these lads on the meter rate? That took a valuable few minutes lol
The cement board in Australia cuts so much easier than the stuff we have in the U.S.A. We would never be able to score it 1 time with the carbide blade and just back snap it like Bob does. Nor do we have a cutting tool like the one he used.
I find it amazing how in 2 different parts of the world how things are built different,Im from South Georgia USA and here homes are built all wood frame, insulation outside walls and ceiling but there its built with iron frame and no insulation I guess things like wind are temp has a lot to do with it.
Very efficient crew. Its nice to see how things are done in other parts of the world. Every thing I see looks clean and well built. I would like to see a short introduction of the crew. How long have these guys been working together ? Nice camera work.
In that bathroom area, or perhaps even other wet or damp areas, what do you use for screws to attach the board with? Stainless steel? Nice cutting work! -Bob...
Few hours from around 6:30am - just after lunchtime, we were planning to go hang the ceiling at my Hail Damaged Ceiling Job but we canned that as it was a Saturday
Cement sheet or villaboard like this is becoming outdated in wet areas, tile backer board is the new go to so much better and waterproof, cement sheets like this will be banned in the future because it rots and falls apart but it will take time
@@Maxkil for wet areas foam/cement coated waterproof board is the new wa, and yes we plasterboard is actually banned in the USA, and cement sheet will be next to be banned
Best drywall TH-cam channel

A board with that many cuts, on camera and no notepad/sizes wrote down, many would have crumbled 😂😂
Good work

yeah bro your right, ours is only 10mm thick, so snaps easy.
I often score it with a grinder than snap it
Wouldn’t it be 9mm? And a single score and snap on 9mm? U sure u didn’t mean to write 6mm 😂
@@doinksinamish5297
Yeah it's definitely only 6mm board.
You can see it in the video.
@@vzgsxr even if it was 10mm which is actually 9mm there’s no way you can score and snap that shit
Wow. Makes it looks easy.
Great value, works perfect
Very nice video max👍👍👍
By the way do you have a video how to repair a crack or a hole on the fibre cement sheet?

In Western Australia we have to insulate the walls.
Think this QLD , so it will be against termites
Hey Max. Another great vid mate.
Just wondering how you guys fix villa board onto timber frame? Nails, screws, glue?
Thanks mate 🙏
Hi Ryan Nails, no glue as villa gets full nails
Can someone tell me where to buy those "scissors" that he uses to cut the cement sheet? Thank you!

thanks Tim, yeah maybe one day we can talk more about that, work too much , hehe. thanks again
What's that drill he using to screw into metal stud frame? Could it handle 1.0mm metal frame or just the typical 0.5mm stuff?
Hi mate,
What screw they use for cement sheet here
@@adamguo7910 I'd also like to know this!
Villaboard Galvanised Countersunk Head Screws 8g x 20mm
Villaboard Galvanised Countersunk Head Screws 8g x 20mm. Comes in loose and on strips
So in Australia, they don't use wood framing anymore? Everything is aluminum?
No they also use wood. ⚡
12% steel frame balance timber.
Where can I buy those shirts?
I live in Chicago Illinois

Good question here,
Ideally C4 but most of time C3

On timber frames do you use glue ,? screws, or nails ?? , ps good job
How many days did it take them to do this whole video series?
Also what kind of razor knives do they use?
Few hours from around 6:30am - just after lunchtime, we were planning to go hang the ceiling at my Hail Damaged Ceiling Job but we canned that as it was a Saturday
not too sure, I will ask what he's using, must be good he uses it that much. Thanks again !
Is that 1/2 inch drywall or 3/4 and why I love them shears
6mm
why do you guys leave that gap at the top where the walls and ceiling meet?
it will be covered by cornice
Hi ! Tell me ,please the name of the board cutter. I never see this tool. Sorry for my poor English

Why does the draw a wee picture on a scrap instead of walking in there 300x to measure?

i don't think so, cement sheet is far superior than any wr drywall
