Really great work done by you all. In many videos i could see rescuers struggling to cut with a knife but here they have used a cutter like instrument hope the turtles too don't have risk of getting hurt. Good souls... may God bless you all 😊.

If you don't want to hurt any kind of marine animal, you can boycott fish, then no marine animal will ever be entangled in a fishing net. If you don't want to hurt any kind of animal, you can boycott the corpses we call meat.

We keep an athletic tape cutter on our boats for just this type of thing. It works really well for small rope or nets that cut into the turtles. Much easier than trying to use a knife blade in rolling seas. We've used it on perhaps three dozen turtles off the FL east coast.
This is an amazing thing you guts are doing for theses beautiful animals. It breaks my heart to see what humans has done to our beautiful oceans good luck and god bless 😀

I have never seen so much suffering of wild animals by humans since seeing all these videos of rescues at sea. Thank you to all of those heros who was at the right place at the right time. The quicker the identification of fishing gear can be identified to boats the better. This can done by coding every fishing net and plastic rope sold with microscopic laser discs during manufacture. It gives a unique finger print of everything,so the first purchaser is registered and is known. This Idea i remember was first broadcast in the 70s fifty years on this should be used to protect the beautiful beings of the oceans. They are not animals, they are beings of a different enviroment. They do not pollute the seas and oceans as we do. How would the human race react if creatures came out of the oceans and do to us as we do to them. No matter how much the entrepreneurs with their green credentials say we are green that is lies. One rocket launch for 90 seconds is the equivelent to 10000 automobiles running for 1 year at full power. Which animals do that to our planet,even as a species. WE have done more damage except possibly than asteroides have done during the whole history of the earth. Humans are a plague on this planet, except the few who give help to those creatures who have suffered because of the rest of us.Thank you to the people who put themselves in danger to rescue the citizens of their planets oceans which we humans pollute with human shit.

Oh My God. There was still line wrapped tight around His fin & cutting right through it. Wish You could have just brought them all on board the boat with the line so You could have had better access & been able to spot it. He's gonna lose His leg & is unlikely to make it with His front fin missing. Thanks for helping them & trying. He definitely needed a Wildlife rescue centre though.

Take the animals up on the boat so you can work faster and more efficient and bring the net back recycle it properly. Thanks for your great job!!! If you work in the water it is also easy for the animal to escape with more tangling that you didn’t see initially, barnacles, maybe it has something bad in the mouth? Take them up out of the water to inspect them thoroughly before releasing them back to the ocean. I don’t want to criticize you, you do an excellent work!!!
These turtle must have been tangled for long time in nets, his right fins blood circulation must have been cut off for very long time. Poor thing, hope he grows a new one, Thank you for you kind heart GUYS.

Last turtle did not dive in deep - right flipper was almost amputated- due to all that man made garbage floating about the seas. Thanks guys for saving them - that was a tough rescue.
Looks like these lads have seen this sort of thing before, as they were pretty quick workers. Sad to see that last turtle had a swollen fin as a result of what must have been quite prolonged entanglement.
