- The final southbound leg of our mini vacation - Key West. It turned out to be a great learning experience for us and we really look forward to our next visit to the Keys. We show several of the features of the RV resort where we stayed.

That'll come next time we visit KW. When Kelly got uncomfortable with parking, she wanted to make a direct path back to the RV Resort! I was able to convince her to make the 'loop' around the Key. However, the further we went around the loop, the more anxious she became..So, we missed the KW filming opportunity.

I’ve never seen those bike boxes. 🤷🏼♂️. We’ve driven to the keys 4 times and I love the drive from Homestead to KW. Once we took A1A just to see south beach. Last time we took the Old Dixie Highway just to see it plus we stayed a few nights in Key Largo.
Parking in the Keys is easy…but not in a van 😂. We just park in the Garages. They are insanely expensive but it’s a spot. We stayed right around the corner from the garage at James and Grinnell one time. Last time we were on the far side of the cemetery 😠. A nice 15 minute walk both ways 😂. I can’t complain, my parents foot the bill 💸.
We have yet to camp there because we only recently got another camper. We’re discussing spending a month there, off peak, when I retire just do relax but we may head to Corpus Christie to camp on the beach 🤔. Anyway be careful out there, I know you are on blood thinners ✌🏼take care
Thanks for sharing! We found a single level public lot where we could have parked but once Kelly read the restrictions at the pay station, that was the end. We plan to use the busses next time, to get from campground to KW.
