Seems like a perfect way to remember where the money was hidden.

Also going to add to places to concentrate when searching. When people buried their Mason jars full of money, they placed them in an area that was easily and frequently seen for security. Daffodil beds planted around homesteads were usually placed where "Mama" could see them from the kitchen sink while washing dishes or spending time in the kitchen. Back then the lady of the house spent a huge amount of time in the kitchen and could detect any disturbance in her flower beds. I want a percentage! LOL!!!

If you haven't already, I would invest in a hard hat and a pair of coveralls. Old outhouses that haven't been used for years usually can yield some unusual finds.

The person I ran I to had found a 20 and a 10 dollar 1850s gold pieces on a find earlier in the month at an old barn site. Showed them to me. How cool is that....
Hello Mr Nugget, I believe you might benefit from a small, but powerful, LED torch. Those dark nooks and crannies may be hiding good finds or nasty surprises. I envy your access to those old and abandoned properties. I'm in the UK and a retired detectorist and really appreciate your energy and enthusiasm for searching out what our elders and ancestors left behind.
Yes, a small powerful flashlight would work. I had one, but it was outside in my backpack, so easier to use phone light at the time haha. Thank you so much for the support, I'll keep the videos coming
I can't believe Nuggetnoggin is out in a secluded woods...at an abandoned house...with a hottie like Daisy...and all that's on his mind is metal detecting.
FYI if you can’t see inside a wall space or tight space, use your phone camera and the look at the phone screen to see what lies between the wall space. Sometimes you can get your phone’s camera in the space but not your head.
Check between the support and the top of the mantel at the fireplace. There might be an old coin placed there for luck by the builder of the house many years ago. Check between both support pieces.
Back in the late 70s, my cousins found enough money in the wall of an old abandoned shack to buy two brand new pickup trucks. Keep looking.

You need one of those sonic water cleaning tubs so you can knock off the filth without harming the piece. Probably help a lot to preserve your finds.
