On the Toyota, can it show transmission temperature and can it perform calibration of seat occupancy classification sensor? Thank you for the follow up video.
I reset the Xtool A30 Pro to factory settings Prior to Nov 1, 2021 and there is a new ‘Report’ tab added on the Home Screen that allows you to send a copy of your reports via email to whomever. The unit version was also updated from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5. There’s probably more updates than I’m aware of. Ive also received an updated Quick Guide from Xtool as well. I’ve since seen new videos of the Xtool A30 Pro, but with the old Home Screen. It’s possible there may be more updates.
That nice that they are making updates, I'm waiting to get the Xtool d9 in my hands. Xtool is not a bad tool and trust me in 6 months these little glitches will be a thing of the past.
At 10:57 it would have been great if you would scroll down each screen to see what cars are included. You stopped at MERC/CV. What was further down the screen for makes?
I would try using it with the windows on both vehicles down. Glass is a great insulator- it might interfere with the bluetooth. You may want to email your Sprinter VIN to the manufacturer.
I tried also inside the vehicle. The a30 pro is a good tool but it still needs a little more development to iron all the wrinkles. The Xtool and x8 is a little more stable so in the long run it will be improved.
Did you figure out why it didn't work on the Sprinter? The Sprinter vans are listed as a separate brand, not under Mercedes strangely. So you need to select Sprinter from the brands menu and then the 906/907 models etc and V class are supported there...

Every time I turn on or update the scanner, I get a message of a version update: "A30PRO V1.0.4" "Fixed bugs and improved user experience" The version under 'About' in the Settings still shows V1.0.3. Ironic.

I know it sounds self explanatory, but an explanation would be helpful to me. This is my first DTC scanner, and I'm still learning about it and how to use it appropriately. Thanks for any info.
@@robertathomas4036 a code reader reads the fault codes from the electronic modules in your car. You can then look up the fault codes, either from a service manual, or try Google-ing it. This fault code directs you to the potentially faulty component in your car(beware: the fault code could also be caused by a different device, such as a bad fuel injector causing a misfire; or a wiring issue to that component, or a control module issue). Less expensive code readers usually will only read out basic codes from the engine control module (ECM). More advanced ones(like this device) interrogate the entire system. The AR30 also allows you to do some circuit tests too (depends on vehicle as to which ones) controlled by the device, called bi-directional testing. This is usually only available in $500., and up, tools. I hope this explanation helps you...I just ordered the AR30 so I'm hoping I can fix my Nissan with it.

I have the 30 Pro , right now it will not do auto Vin scan nor will it let me inter the vin manual. Where are you getting tech support from xtool , I am getting “ website not available. Is there a phone # that is not 15 # , they do not reply to my emails either. Thanks John

Try laying the blue tooth adapter up on the dashboard for better range. It will transmit thru the windows.

I would email the vendor your vin and ask for a list of supported features for your Toyota.

It's over a 100 brands. If you it's a North epa regulated vehicle brand other than Lambo and super exotics it is covered. Thank you for the feedback

At the time it wasn’t an option, maybe it update now but back then it wasn’t

I got the same error on mine. You are not alone, I think Xtool still has to work out lots of bugs but I think they are learning.

No update yet. It will have to do a video explain the difference between scan tools.

yes it works on hybrids and not it does not pick up power steering faults

I think bluetooth should be a secondary connection, not the main way to connect.

Not impressed. A V-gate 5.0 or higher dongle and literally any bi directional app and you can do the same for an 1/8th of the cost.
