I think that tab and Dave/unknown are the same. They have similar looks with the eyes and mouth and other things and they also worked at that building. I’m thinking that unknown worked at the place as tab, left so they thought he died, went to his apartment a few years later, got the nails in the eyes and the car jack to the mouth,starved, and died.

29:37 I have a theory, go back to Subject 14, it says that Cratz Pur was a mimic. What if Dave’s corpse that was found years ago was taken by Tab, a worker of the office building, and taken to the cultists, and that happened right after Cratz Pur was successfully mimicked, hence it saying “first attempt at mimicking the technology used by the cult” so they mimicked Dave’s dead body and it was a failure, causing him to look odd and not match his description. The mimic was probably kept somewhere for years until the newly resurrected apartment building was built. And then he was taken to the newly resurrected apartment building, maybe a rebuilt version of the apartment building Kurt was forced to burn down. The mimic was probably there a few weeks cause it died of starvation. Edit: NEW THEORY!!! In the new mod (breakthrough), it shows that Tab is his nickname and Dave Ruy is his real name, and Dave made a TON of mimics of himself to try and find a perfect one. So the Dave in this mod must be a failed mimic of Tab (aka Dave Ruy). This also ties in with the fact that Tab worked in an office building, and Dave was found in an office building, too. Also, there is evidence in breakthrough that Tab (aka Dave Ruy) is the leader of the cult because it says in breakthrough that Tab (AKA DAVE FRICKIN’ RU-) is the owner of ferrotech, sounds awfully similar to ferrofluid, right?
As for lilac I think that James actually murdered her since there's wires when you lower his sprite from the "stage" instead of rising upwards out of view, It has to be deliberate

In Dave's/subject 17 desc it mentions a car Jack which stretched his mouth and the nails removed his eyes. His skeletal condition is due to the starvation.

The reason she doesn’t spew blood in the game is because she was treated, as explained in the lore, so they aren’t going to just ignore that fact completely. Edit 3: This one is really the last, since I got nothing else to say. I’m at where they are rating beat 3, and I hear they now think it’s a head stuff into a statue, completely missing the fact that, no, the head just got covered in clay. I’m guessing they are just missing the details, and so don’t notice what they talk about being directly explained. With this being said, they do make some good points like how the head got passed off as a statue if it can freely move.
No one is paying mind that the duck was literally a 6 year old. Which in my theory the whole "torturing for crimes" theory makes no sense. It didn't describe how a literal 6 year old could commit a crime that bad. This is the first Incredibox mod I've seen where there is lore in a horror-themed mod, that is somewhat structured as if it was a SCP or creepypasta document.
My theory for Andrew is that he was also in the apartment fire, escaped, and rushed into the lake to put out the fire. When he jumped into the lake though, he didn't know how to swim and the water was deep, and he ran out of energy and succumbed to drowning. That's probably why he has those black charred spots on him, and his eye socket might have burnt, hence his... eye. The reason he isn't bloated is because he rose to the top of the lake. That is my theory.
I have a theory on the homeless guy. Maybe they wanted to test on someone who was alive so they gave some pills of the fluid to a person that would cover it self by saying he went crazy on some random drug.

In terms of the gameplay, It's just full of horror stuff but I did enjoy the guy on drugs (The first melody) and the tv with ferofluid. Voices like James is also pretty good one too when just him, Ethan and the 4th prototype is just neat for a horror. About the lore....Gives me more like a FNAF vibes. Because of the building set on fire, multiple deaths and this ferofluid thing and honestly.. I have no theories on any of them. Except on some videos I see: 1. People says that Tab killed Dave because of something. 2. Other theory I see was the rockstar girl was killed probably because of James (?). I honestly don't see a connection to both of these as I watch this video. This makes more sense than this theory I found Other than that, you and Splatjack are great Incredi-theorists so far (IMO)
The reason people think James killed Lilac is because James in his design is hanging from the roof by what looks like oily wires, see the connection now.
I got one thing to say about Dave and that's that the bloody carjack in his description is what I think is whoever killed them used. Car jacks are meant to lift cars and although I'm not a mechanic I bet if someone could you could use it to force someone's jaw open. I think that's why his mouth is so wide open. It could also be related to him starving because I don't think without special medical technologies. Imagine trying to eat but your mouth is super wide open basically all the time because someone basically pried it open and *I'm assuming this happened* broke your jaw in the process. Maybe he was being tortured by the cult with them starving him by making him unable to chew food so if he tried to he would choke. But during the process of torturing him they noticed whoever discovered them was coming near so they left leaving Dave behind. That's basically all I have to say.

It doesn't have anything to do with him being high, actually. It was because he was _beaten to death_ but, not only is he alive in the mod, but his body is shown to be in perfect condition, without any scars, bruises, or any other form of physical trauma. This is why they brought up the theory that he was brought back to life by the ferofluid, and was most likely the first prototype because the siren is confirmed to be the third, so it makes sense that the TV would come directly before. This is why the order is theorized to be the homeless man, the TV, the siren, the twins, and then the duck.

the corpse in the vent was subject 1, since it was a concept of redacted's fear, and classified was still in the making when lilac died because prototype 1 got beaten to death outside of lilacs home before being brought back to life.
Yo Potiman, I noticed there is some bonus lore for Tab. You can tell there is something there because a comma can be seen on the side of the "file case." Idk what it says though, since the text is white and the background is white. Maybe there would be a way to copy the text and paste it somewhere so we can see what it says?
it's probably not the case, but "why was i told to write this document?" in Tab's description makes me feel like he's got some anti-memetic properties (information/idea that has self censoring properties, in this case, information about Tab), you dont just randomly write something like that into a document

My theory is: Andrew is the 1st prototype, the homeless man was an artificial human created by the cult, as his name and age was not known, his body looks like a "default" character, he has no clothes and his body is too clean to belong to a homeless man.
James could be Ethan's killer as James was known to be very agressive towards the people around him and perhaps got into a heated argument that he got the motive for killing Ethan so he shot him in both of the eyes so Ethan could no longer see and took Ethan's own tuba and hit it on Ethan's head to make sure that Ethan was dead and hung himself due to guilt and later after becoming a monster killed Lilac thinking that Lilac was Ethan possibly due to warped perception of the world.

Here's my theory. Ethan and Lilac were killed by James. If you read 16:10 , It say's, "A mass of wires covered in oil tangled around a shadowy figure" which represents James. Not only that, but if you look at the character sprite for James for the Orin Ayo wiki, It represents the mass of wires covered in oil tangled around a shadowy figure. Not only that, but I think James was one of the few cultist that was kicked out the group. Not only that, but James probably used ferofluid before he died. The reason why I think it said "covered in oil" is because of the ferofluid. Also, The reason I think why Ethan died is because If you read at 10:21 , It says "via shot in the eyes with a pistol and then dropping a tuba onto Ethan." The only way the tuba would of dropped onto Ethan's face what probably cause of James. I don't fully know that James killed Ethan because the murderer shooting Ethan in the eyes probably caused him to fall down in pain and get crushed with a tuba. But that's only theory 1. My other theory is about Cratz pur and Ethan. If you look closey around their necks, you'll notice that they both have hoods which could relate about the theory of the cult. Not only that, but Cratz pur could of been friends with either Lilac or Ethan. But it's most likely Ethan because he's a talented musician. Not only that, but Cratz pur and Ethan could of been working to see if the Mimmicry technology would actually work. But then something went wrong with the tech and caused Cratz pur to lose his senses except for the recorded mimmicry.

i think ethans death was caused by the tuba and not the eyes, now hear me out, what if the guy behind it wanted to kill him by shooting him in the eyes, but the guns were loaded with rubber bullets meaning that they didint die from the eyes being shot out so they bashed their head in with the tuba and thats what finally killed him, and thus is my explanation on the tuba part.

what if the robot guy (cratz pur no. 14), is what happened to the hobo after the cult. picture this: the hobo was ALMOST killed by the police as number 14's card said he had a "near death experience", so as the hobo was about to die, the cult found him, put him back together and revived him as a cyborg. this is why he was the 1st prototype, the cult realized how the ferogoop can revive people and they went on to make all the other prototypes. this idea just boomed in my head. it was fun to think about it.
I agree that Andrew was definitely not at the bottom of that lake for nearly a whole month because his body still looks too fresh and ever since he was at the bottom of a lake, the rate of decomposition would've actually been sped up but again it looks like he's still too fresh or at the most about to enter the second stage of decomposition. But personally I disagree with the high man killing Andrew/The Drowned Man because Andrew doesn't look like he's higher than a fricking satellite unlike our high, police-ambulance siren sounding friend here but rather he looks like he was beaten by something because his eyes look screwed up and to me those dark blotches on his forehead look like bruises but I may be wrong because well the same man that supposedly killed Andrew was beat to death by cops himself but he doesn't have those same blotches. My personal theory is that Andrew killed himself with him possibly being a vet who saw some action while he was in the navy (evidence being that you can see his sailor scarf on the left side of him where it's more visible and his hat) and went missing for 26 days before he killed himself a week before his body was found with him possibly smiling because he was free of his personal demons and trauma and could finally find peace in death

I think that tab and Dave/unknown are the same. They have similar looks with the eyes and mouth and other things and they also worked at that building. I’m thinking that unknown worked at the place as tab, left so they thought he died, went to his apartment a few years later, got the nails in the eyes and the car jack to the mouth,starved, and died.

29:37 I have a theory, go back to Subject 14, it says that Cratz Pur was a mimic. What if Dave’s corpse that was found years ago was taken by Tab, a worker of the office building, and taken to the cultists, and that happened right after Cratz Pur was successfully mimicked, hence it saying “first attempt at mimicking the technology used by the cult” so they mimicked Dave’s dead body and it was a failure, causing him to look odd and not match his description. The mimic was probably kept somewhere for years until the newly resurrected apartment building was built. It didn't describe how a literal 6 year old could commit a crime that bad. This is the first Incredibox mod I've seen where there is lore in a horror-themed mod, that is somewhat structured as if it was a SCP or creepypasta document.
My theory for Andrew is that he was also in the apartment fire, escaped, and rushed into the lake to put out the fire. When he jumped into the lake though, he didn't know how to swim and the water was deep, and he ran out of energy and succumbed to drowning. That's probably why he has those black charred spots on him, and his eye socket might have burnt, hence his... eye. The reason he isn't bloated is because he rose to the top of the lake. That is my theory.

In terms of the gameplay, It's just full of horror stuff but I did enjoy the guy on drugs (The first melody) and the tv with ferofluid. Voices like James is also pretty good one too when just him, Ethan and the 4th prototype is just neat for a horror.
About the lore....Gives me more like a FNAF vibes. Because of the building set on fire, multiple deaths and this ferofluid thing and honestly.. I have no theories on any of them. Except on some videos I see:

The reason people think James killed Lilac is because James in his design is hanging from the roof by what looks like oily wires, see the connection now.
I got one thing to say about Dave and that's that the bloody carjack in his description is what I think is whoever killed them used. Car jacks are meant to lift cars and although I'm not a mechanic I bet if someone could you could use it to force someone's jaw open. I think that's why his mouth is so wide open. It could also be related to him starving because I don't think without special medical technologies. Imagine trying to eat but your mouth is super wide open basically all the time because someone basically pried it open and *I'm assuming this happened* broke your jaw in the process. Maybe he was being tortured by the cult with them starving him by making him unable to chew food so if he tried to he would choke. But during the process of torturing him they noticed whoever discovered them was coming near so they left leaving Dave behind. That's basically all I have to say.

It was because he was _beaten to death_ but, not only is he alive in the mod, but his body is shown to be in perfect condition, without any scars, bruises, or any other form of physical trauma. This is why they brought up the theory that he was brought back to life by the ferofluid, and was most likely the first prototype because the siren is confirmed to be the third, so it makes sense that the TV would come directly before. This is why the order is theorized to be the homeless man, the TV, the siren, the twins, and then the duck.

My theory is: Andrew is the 1st prototype, the homeless man was an artificial human created by the cult, as his name and age was not known, his body looks like a "default" character, he has no clothes and his body is too clean to belong to a homeless man.

James could be Ethan's killer as James was known to be very agressive towards the people around him and perhaps got into a heated argument that he got the motive for killing Ethan so he shot him in both of the eyes so Ethan could no longer see and took Ethan's own tuba and hit it on Ethan's head to make sure that Ethan was dead and hung himself due to guilt and later after becoming a monster killed Lilac thinking that Lilac was Ethan possibly due to warped perception of the world.

The owner of the entire project said that tab is the cult leader, I don’t know anything else, but I do remember him, saying that in some other video when someone made avideo about the mod. The owner commented on it, when somebody asked about tab, he replied that tab was the cult leader. other than that everything else I agree with this video, keep up with the good work man!

Here's my theory. Ethan and Lilac were killed by James. If you read 16:10 , It say's, "A mass of wires covered in oil tangled around a shadowy figure" which represents James. Not only that, but if you look at the character sprite for James for the Orin Ayo wiki, It represents the mass of wires covered in oil tangled around a shadowy figure. Not only that, but I think James was one of the few cultist that was kicked out the group. Not only that, but James probably used ferofluid before he died. The reason why I think it said "covered in oil" is because of the ferofluid. Also, The reason I think why Ethan died is because If you read at 10:21 , It says "via shot in the eyes with a pistol and then dropping a tuba onto Ethan." The only way the tuba would of dropped onto Ethan's face what probably cause of James. I don't fully know that James killed Ethan because the murderer shooting Ethan in the eyes probably caused him to fall down in pain and get crushed with a tuba.
But that's only theory 1. My other theory is about Cratz pur and Ethan. If you look closey around their necks, you'll notice that they both have hoods which could relate about the theory of the cult. Not only that, but Cratz pur could of been friends with either Lilac or Ethan. But it's most likely Ethan because he's a talented musician. Not only that, but Cratz pur and Ethan could of been working to see if the Mimmicry technology would actually work. But then something went wrong with the tech and caused Cratz pur to lose his senses except for the recorded mimmicry.
Its crazy to think about as in the remake only certain polos got transfered to it and some got replaced and removed still crazy to think about these documents even with the remake
i think ethans death was caused by the tuba and not the eyes, now hear me out, what if the guy behind it wanted to kill him by shooting him in the eyes, but the guns were loaded with rubber bullets meaning that they didint die from the eyes being shot out so they bashed their head in with the tuba and thats what finally killed him, and thus is my explanation on the tuba part.

what if the robot guy (cratz pur no. 14), is what happened to the hobo after the cult. picture this: the hobo was ALMOST killed by the police as number 14's card said he had a "near death experience", so as the hobo was about to die, the cult found him, put him back together and revived him as a cyborg. this is why he was the 1st prototype, the cult realized how the ferogoop can revive people and they went on to make all the other prototypes.
this idea just boomed in my head. it was fun to think about it.
I agree that Andrew was definitely not at the bottom of that lake for nearly a whole month because his body still looks too fresh and ever since he was at the bottom of a lake, the rate of decomposition would've actually been sped up but again it looks like he's still too fresh or at the most about to enter the second stage of decomposition. But personally I disagree with the high man killing Andrew/The Drowned Man because Andrew doesn't look like he's higher than a fricking satellite unlike our high, police-ambulance siren sounding friend here but rather he looks like he was beaten by something because his eyes look screwed up and to me those dark blotches on his forehead look like bruises but I may be wrong because well the same man that supposedly killed Andrew was beat to death by cops himself but he doesn't have those same blotches. My personal theory is that Andrew killed himself with him possibly being a vet who saw some action while he was in the navy (evidence being that you can see his sailor scarf on the left side of him where it's more visible and his hat) and went missing for 26 days before he killed himself a week before his body was found with him possibly smiling because he was free of his personal demons and trauma and could finally find peace in death
