Hi Guys. As evidence for your market updates, though for new CamperVans, without naming the Dealership, in-process of buying a brand new Swift Carrera CamperVan 2025 model, so brand new, delivered before Xmas to Dealership, with nearly £5000 discounted, part NEC discounts, part Dealership discounts. Interesting times in this genre of leisure industry. What appears to be happening, perception based only as have no data, people like myself, are buying CamperVans they like, but not at the expensive real high end (£90,000 & above) & then adding a lot of aftermarket mods (Lithium battery upgrades, internet, full air suspension, self levelling, off-road wheels for look and practicality, diesel heaters, further winterisation above heated fresh and waste water tanks, with thermal rapping, so really can use in all weathers off grid, plus a host of other add-ons I will not list here. Then at least you get the CamperVan you want and not what a manufacturer, large or small believes it’s customer’s want. Plus ends-up a lot cheaper over-all. Informative video again, thank-you, as agree with all views expressed in this video. Personally, pop-tops, are for a certain type of camper, as likely to be more seasonal than all year round types. This is due to heat egress, damp ingress and high winds or really bad weather, has to be dropped and closed. Living in UK if wanting to get all year round use and value from purchase, especially in scenic places by the South West Coast or Highlands of Scotland, then a pop-top, has this consideration. But great extra space for families in a smaller space vehicle who are seasonal campers. I see the CamperVan, Motorhome market as very similar to the housing market. Lots of supply, though much is not of high quality meaning not high sales, though they are trickling along with the quality, as it is a buyers market with choice. So the supply is building-up, which means at some point something has to give, as with all supply and demand. It is also the time of year I see far too many Motorhomes and CamperVans driving around UK roads on summer tyres. Minimum should be on All Season, if not Winter graded tyres, as these 4 tyres are the only thing connecting you to the road. People don’t due to cost of changing out between winter and summer, or from pure ignorance, but for normally less than £600 to £800, depending on quality of tyre manufacture, it is nothing when compared to cost of saving your life or that of other road users or pedestrians. Think winter, think tyres, even windscreen wipers, as summer wipers are different from winter wipers! Thanks guys!
