I thought that last quiz was going to be the last one for the year, but you came through with another one for us. Thanks for that! For Nigiri, I'd have thought it was some type of creature from Harry Potter, but I see from others that it's sushi. That works too. Happy Christmas, good sir, and thank you for providing us with the enjoyment of what you do.
That was fun.. Score was 75/75 and nigiri is sushi ...a small mound of rice with wasabi and raw fish. Have a very Merry Christmas or whatever Holiday you may be celebrating this season. Enjoy your family and friends at this time and also have a prosperous New Year. Have a good break, Ben!
64/75 I'm glad you made another quiz before the New Year. It was great! Thanks for sharing, Ben. Happy holidays. And if you do any traveling, stay safe and enjoy! 👍😁✌️
I really enjoy participating in your quizzes. Well, television entertainment has plummeted into the pits. Most forms of entertainment are an insult to ones intelligence. Enjoying the fruits of your research in the comfort of my home is most pleasurable to be sure!
70/75. Sorry I haven't been around. Moving house. Health problems. Have a great Christmas and new year. Thanks for all your hard work.❤from Africa xxxxx
Thanks for your fabulous quizzes throughout the year. Wishing you a joyful Christmas 🎄 and a great start to 2024. I got 1 wrong, with about 5 guesses. I think nigiri is seaweed
A full house - 75/75! Or 63/75 without the options. Q14 bonus is a kind of sushi, I think? For Q43, definitely pronounce 'gizzard' the way you first said it. Never heard the second one! Cheers Ben, a Merry Christmas to you. 😁
I thought I was going to finally do great on one of these. I started 18/20. Finished with only 57 correct. With 4-5 of the ones I missed being ones I second guessed myself.
One very good thing was that you did not just say 'Notre Dame' as there are many such churches. Including Paris defined which one. Many quizzes fail in this regard. Full marks.
Dear Ben, sorry, I'm not such a dilligent commentator. So let me thank you for a lot of interesting and educational quizzes 👌👍🤗I wish you that you will never run out of ideas and all the best for you 👋❤
71/75 Mount Augustus in Western Australia is the Largest. Uluru in the Northern Territory of Australia was discovered first and is quite assessable therefore well known as the largest until the measurement of Mt Augustus was done. It is however, quite remote even for Australia
Hi. Thanks for commenting and the information. From what I've read and according to geological studies Mount Augustus is not a monolith, it is a monocline. Uluru is still the world's largest monolith. 😁👍
Warmest thanks for another fun-filled quiz, Ben - I scored 70/75 - nigrini is a type of sushi, I think. Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays and looking forward to seeing you in 2024! 🙂
Hi. Thanks for commenting. The word two has three letters, not the same as its value 2. Only four has the same amount of letters as its value (4). I hope that explains it. 😁
Thanks for commenting. This from their own website. Clearly says quarters. ”Regulation games run for a total of 48 minutes, split into four 12-minute quarters. Overtime periods are 5 minutes long"
Thanks for commenting. Let me explain. It is a liquid at room temperature because it has already melted from a solid to a liquid. It melts at a much lower temperature than the others. It changes from solid to liquid at around -38c. Does that help?
Can someone please explain question 49 to me please "How many Apollo missions landed humans on the moon?" How many??? How many??? Either I am too dense to understand the question correctly or it is a practical joke. Assuming the former, can someone explain what the question means because I would understand it to mean how many missions successfully put people on the moon. As for all these bright buttons in the comments section who claim to have got 75/5 or as near.............Hmmm Are these all without cheating, without any "oh that's what I meant to say" type answers included? Honit soit qui mal y pense.
It's not a joke. There were 6 Apollo missions that successfully landed on the moon (crewed). The first being Apollo 11. There were 6 more missions sent after that, 5 of which were successful. Apollo 13 was unsuccessful, there is a film about that one.
Actually they are not. Here's an excerpt from an article. (There are many more references) "Mandrills are the largest monkey species and one of the most colorful. They resemble baboons, but DNA studies show they are more closely related to mangabey monkeys." I do check my facts. If I make a mistake I would admit it. I hope you post a correction to your comment. Thank you 😊 Here's another reference www.monkeyworlds.com/mandrill/
Ben takes his position as quiz master very seriously, unlike several I have encountered here on youtube. If he finds he has made an error, he would be the first to admit it and correct it. He is diligent about giving us the best quizzes on the tube👍Ihave been taking his quizzes for some time now and he has never disappointed.
59/75, not too bad. I like your quizzes the best. I have done a few others, but I don’t care for the hosts of those. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎉 from Audrey in Canada
I love these quizzes but I really wish you wouldn't repeat so many questions. I'd watch these all day if they were all unique from one another. I'd also subscribe.
Hi. Thanks for commenting. I've made over 200 videos and roughly 15,000 questions, there's only so much that is still general knowledge, that is appropriate to a worldwide audience. So sometimes I do put together compilations, and variations of previous questions. Most viewers haven't watched all the videos and there's also the aspect of seeing if you can still remember the answer from last time. I do put new questions in with every video, but given how long it takes to write 100 multiple choice questions, where the answer has to be 100% correct, and the wrong answers have to be 100% incorrect, and I have to consider that the viewer can be from anywhere in the world, and the need to publish a new quiz all the time, plus it's only me, all on my own making these that no one pays to watch, i guess i could be forgiven for repeating the odd question here and there. 😁🤔
You are wrong about the 1st day of the second millennium being Jan 1, 2001. The year 2000 is not part of the previous millennium. That would be a millennium of 1001 years before you have year 1 you must have 1st day, 1st month. Like your birthday, you are 55 and a bit, into you 56th year, which you will be on your next birthday. Geddit?
I'd rather you explain it here, @@Quizzes4U, for all of us to see how you respond to my explanation of how years are counted. Answer me this question, if you may: what year is that which begins at midnight between 1999 and 2000? If your response is "2000 (Jan1-Dec31) is the last year of the first millennium", then that millenium has 1001 years because the first year began on the first day of year zero AD, that is, like your birthday, you were 364 days old before you were 1. Year one does not begin from zero. Remember. The millennium celebration took place on the eve of Dec 31, 1999 for that reason. The year 2000 is the year zero of the current millennium, that is, the 365 days before year one. You assume Google is always right. Don't depend on it. Check the maths! Another thing you probably assume wrongly is that a billion is a thousand million. That is also wrong.
@@claudioelgueta5722 Everyone else gets it, or looks it up. Years of the Gregorian calendar, which is currently in use, are counted from AD 1. Thus, the 1st century comprised the years AD 1 through AD 100. The second century started with AD 101 and continued through AD 200. By extrapolation, the 20th century comprises the years AD 1901-2000. Therefore, the 21st century will begin with 1 January 2001 and continue through 31 December 2100.
You haven't replied to my question, @@ChannelGrowMedia, which I repeat here: Why did everyone celebrated the coming of the second millennium on the eve of Dec 31 1999? . Your answer would be "because they were wrong". No. If it is as you say, the 12 century would comprise the years 1200s, but it doesn't. It is in the years 100s. Year One was a full year after the Era began.
My last quiz of 2023. I hope you enjoy it. I will be back in a few weeks time. Happy new year and thank you all for your support. 😁😁❤
Happy Christmas and Merry New Year, Ben! ♥♥♥

I would question the answer to the last question. Fuur is correct, but it's not the only one. What about TWO?

Great quiz, but I don’t know how scuba is a sport. 4:56
All depends on how you define sport. To me, seems more like an athletic activity than a sport, but it ain't that big of a deal to me.
You’re all across the globe on every single subject it’s hard to imagine someone knowing that much
What about five that has 5 letters

I am confused about the melting point of mercury. How can it be the lowest when it is a liquid at room temperature but tin and lead are solids?
