Hiya PLEASE would you do a video on vinager rinses. I have started in the last few months finishing my hair wash with a vinager rinse but I'd like to know more about the mechanism of action from a professional perspective. May thanks Samantha from England 🇬🇧
I beg to differ, toners can and do actually shift the natural hair colour (well maybe not the toner but the developing or activating lotion does) I am a natural level 6. Any toner on my hair even with a 6 vol which all hairdressers swear has no lift turns my dark blonde natural hair orange. Look at anyone who uses a Redken toner and you can see the orange/red tones on the root. It doesn't fade away and has to be grown out the same way a permanent colour would. So sadly I cannot use toners. I do sometimes make my own by mixing a semi perm colour in with conditioner but alas this cannot achieve the beautiful gloss finish of Shades EQ
Best Bond repair depending on what you want: 1. Immediate Fix with slightly long term effect: Olaplex 2. Accumulative permanent fix - K18 (the longer you use, the better your hair will be) 3. Very instant physical fix and bond repair - living proof triple bond complex 4. One time use, very instant bond repair and instant physical fix - Epres
I'm a male with slightly-thinning fine hair, but Olaplex No.3 is horrible on it. Every time I've tried using it my hair goes all sticky-up at the ends, and you can see that some hairs have gone a bit angular too. And when it dries it's more straw-like than before. This is the opposite to what the product is supposed to do, and it's a bit strange because when I had some highlights put-in a while ago they used Olaplex, and my hair looked better than ever; quite smooth with a bit of shine. It worked well then, so why not at home?
I do! I wash once with the K18 detox shampoo, then do Olaplex NO3, leave it for half an hour, wash again with K18 detox, then follow up with the K18 mask. It’s a bit expensive and maybe excessive but I have fabulous blonde hair 🎉
@@avaboyer9297 your hair does NOT need that detox shampoo twice. I wouldn’t even suggest it once weekly, that’s a once a month, once every two weeks type of product. Double wash with your regular shampoo - absolutely, but the double wash or even once a week wash with the detox shampoo is going to cause tremendous dryness and breakage.
@@vee_d2770 the bottle says to wash twice if needed, and to use weekly. I personally use it fortnightly, but double wash when I do. I have to double wash regardless of what product I’m using, I guess I could use detox and then another shampoo for my second wash, but it’s already a complicated routine and I don’t want to add extra products. If I ever experience some unexplainable damage or coarseness I’ll give what you suggest a try, but for now it’s working really well.
Well also I think Olaplex sued L'Oreal over stealing the chemical/ingredient because they claimed they stole it and made wellaplex, smartbond, etc and they have a patent. Many of the other 'bond products' use citric acid or whatever (except K18 which is a different technology from what I understand) not the same chemical in Olaplex. I found this video while doing some research for the newest technology (if one wanted to do a standalone treatment) but haven't found much except K18.
citric acid , malic acid , taurine , catonic polymers are the most common ones used. from experience i can tell you the hair feels so much better after using prebonded colours then adding a bonder into it. if you have any questions for your research dont hesitate to send me a DM x
Why is my hair textured, porous, bumpy only on the top and silky and perfect underneath? I rarely use hot hair tools. Is it because of sun damage, maybe?. Does heat protectants protect from the sun rays?. Thank you!
Olaplex is still doing wonders for my hair, 8 years ago and currently. I've switched to different products but my lightened dry hair prefers Olaplex
Agree with you , I still use Olaplex 3 after 6yrs and my hair never was so beautiful 😊
I found olaplex useless until I used the loreal metal detox shampoo... that stuff is amazing and now the olaplex seems to suit my hair
Yes detox shampoo first
They shoud've added bond protectors in the hair dye in the place. I've always understood that olaplex was for going platinium blond.

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING! I NEED A PRODUCT THAT WILL STRENGTHEN MY OVER Processed HAIR. WHAT SHOULD I USE?
I have the same problem
Do you have Sally Beauty Supply stores in Ireland? ... what do you think of the "Professional" products they carry??
can you use olaplex 3 and k18 in the same routine? I have very damaged hair and have been using k18 but also have lots of olaplex 3 left over
I use both on wash day and have seen a massive improvement from just using olaplex 3 x

How do you like Epres?
Matrix have already bond in their so color line.
so color sync 💪
Matrix has that L'Oreal system, they owned by L'Oreal

What about the new l oreal ?
that's good I dont have to buy an overpriced small bottle of oleplex.
What do you recommend for damaged bleach hair?
Does mask contain sulfate
In fairness Olaplex did save my hair when I first came out, but now whatever they've done to the formula, it's a Heap of dirt 😂
Why is my hair textured, porous, bumpy only on the top and silky and perfect underneath? I rarely use hot hair tools. Is it because of sun damage, maybe?. Does heat protectants protect from the sun rays?. Thank you!
Exactly it. Sun damage plus pollution. Both damage the top layer of hair, while the hair underneath is much more protected.
Наверное, вы их судите феном.иногда, можно кондиционер наносить на корни тоже.
Do you sleep with your hair out like that or do you put it in a bun?
This is exactly me even the new hair growth in front is weak while in the back is very strong and handle bleaching well
Thank you agáin!
The company has been sold.
👍👍
But are they good to use if your hair is already damaged?
Yeees you should because they are going to repair your hair the most they can in the past months :)
