    Absolutely love it guys, have watched this so many times. As an ancient mariner nearing the end of my sailing time it makes me smile and remember why I always returned to the sea. Thank you for this gift.

    We all get the preconceived idea that Atlantic crossings are only good with 36foot+ sailboats ... or bigger.
    You guys proved that any boat can make that crossing confortably!
    Great video!

      @blakemercsith2699 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wasn't it the North Sea and not the Atlantic , I'm sure others have done the Atlantic though . Good video , I wish I had a boat like your . I only have a 3 man rib and small engine but I'm still dreaming maybe 1 day .

      blakemerc sith I have crossed both and trust me, the North Sea is more challanging with four seasons in a day quite normal.

      @@blakemercsith2699 I have two 22 footers and they were about £800 each including outboard engines. Mooring and insurance is a out £17.50 each per week. Cheap Holiday home for me a poor man lol 🤣

    'Lowering the tone of the marina' - haha! Just like me! I bought a 40 year old boat in America on Ebay and sailed 2000 miles down the East coast and 'lowered the tone' in many marinas on the way! Loved your video. What a fabulous cruising ground.

    Simply awesome! You guys rock. I wish you well in all of your future adventures. My wife and I are still sailing our original 16 footer that we got 46 years ago. Small boats are great fun to sail. We do have to be careful with the weather, however. Many times we've been caught out in big wind conditions. Once we lost the mast two miles from the dock. Exhilarating too say the least :). All the best. Be safe.

    How good has this fella got it, he's all snug in the cabin whilst his missus is out in the spray and cold on the tiller AND knocking up some bacon sangers, then passing him some while he's still warm and dry in the cabin. I might have to trade my missus in for one of those models
