The Matte painting behind the scenes were very good. but you could tell they were paintings; wonder why they didn't use real scenery. that last scene at the end was fantastic, wonder where they got so many wagons, they didn't have computers in those days
Everyone also knows that the indigenous people fought and chaseed each other off land themselves . Recently, evidence has been found that the native people commonly called Indians wear not the first people living on the North America continent . It will be interesting when it is discover who those people were and where they came from and also where they went if they went . DNA based research provides new missing information regularly. By the way, I have a Winchester take from a white man who no longer needed it by one of my native American ancestors . I am less than 1/8 native American from my mothers side. So I don't claim to be native American.
Stupid movie, lousy script. So they have a big battle and the soldiers abandon the fort and the settlers just head out without a guide with a thousand miles to go? I wonder if the outdoor scenes were reused from other films. The battle had more indians than the little bighorn. Wrong guns for the era.
Thanks for a great movie. I like these old westerns. Thanks for putting them on here.❤😊
Fred McMurray...good actor.❤. This movie is good entertainment.
Thank you for sharing it.
I rember seeing this movie before. I enjoy these type movies.
There is a golf course in Soda Springs, Idaho that still shows remnants of the Oregon Trail to this day.
Real good movie!
thanx4post

The real title for this film is The Oregon Trail, released in 1959.
Well done, and thanks.
this is calledTHE OREGON TRAIL 1959,looks like filmed for tv movie even if it was filmed during the 1950s
I watched
Auch wieder nicht in Deutsch….traurig das alles😢😢😢😮
They carve up a movie, give it a new title, and we are supposed to watch it after that?
Some nice scenery shots but the closeup backdrops are rather lousy. Fred was good in other movies, not here.
It's mostly filmed in a backlot somewhere in California. Not much evidence of being under the Oregon sky, only the hot studio lights!
even the background parts are painted, just horrible probably didnt want to travel outside the studio
The war paint almost made me spit coffee on my keyboard.
Türkçe dublaj olmadığı için hiç bir şey alamıyorum
Damn engines!😂
They are not war like Indians in Oregon
Bello ma troppo di parte. Ormai tutti sanno come sono andate le cose,ha vinto la prepotenza dell' invasore bianco. Ottimi i costumi.
