I have one and I am considering adding another one to my account today!!! Metro-by-T-Mobile has an offer now to add one for $50 + $15/month for service....NOT BAD 👌👌👌
Their free with a rebate, only 1 per customer though and you have to be a metro customer, plus keep your metro phone active, so you can't just get one free...
I haven't bought one yet, but I'm planning on getting one for my car.
I've seen this tablet in the Metro store but couldn't get a total feel with the crowd that night. This review is excellent. This guy gives a straight shoot . I can tell it's a cheap device but for entry level it's enticing. He lays out the pros and cons well. Thank you!!

Does this tablet allow the user to move light game apps (such as Candy Crush) over to the SD card? The Galaxy Tab 8 doesn't allow apps at all to be moved (only media) and Alcatel is famous for giving the "Cannot move. Not enough space"; even with a brand new, blank, formatted SD card.
Seems like a solid little tab for the price, but this is an area that lacks in most cheaper tab models...

If you're on ATT or TMobile, ZTE Trek 2 is $99 on Amazon. 10+ hours battery life, front facing Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, LTE data SIM on TMobile, Data and phone on ATT as it is ATT branded. Their software can be disabled. No Android updates beyond Nougat. Peace

Overall I like it, but the developers really messed up the home screen. You cannot apply wallpaper correctly if it's a custom image. It distorts the image instead of applying it correctly. Also, the navigation and fixed app links at the bottom of the screen do not rotate with the screen on landscape view. Instead, and landscape they're on the right hand side of the screen, which makes no sense whatsoever.
Maybe they will hire you to design the next one correctly.

That's a good question. I didn't see anything about that in the specs or details, and I don't have the connector to test it out...

Tmobile dont want to give me that one because I have to pay $10 montly per service so why if they said is free I can pay it later if I want ???🤷♀️🤷♀️
It's actually free on metro u pay activation fee and service for a months. 50 dollars. And I believe u get a 30 dollar credit on ur account after 3 months with MetroPCS

As a realtor and the present time of corona virus I have taken a video of one of my listings to send out to a customer who would like to see more of the inside. took a nice video camera is very nice and adequate for the job. But trying to send the size is too big and it did not send. How do I and how much smaller does is have to be to send to clients email.

@@TechOdyssey Oops, how do I use the I.R. Blaster? Meaning, what is the app to control my television or do I need to D/L an App?
You'll need to download an app to use it. There isn't one pre-installed, unfortunately. Also, be sure your TV uses an IR remote. My sharp Roku TV, for instance, does not. I went through 6-7 remote apps trying to figure out why it wouldn't work and not all TVs use them anymore. I just downloaded the sharp Roku TV app and bam, worked with my phone or tablet - no IR required

I was sold on this buy a metro PCS store a claims that I would be able to cast to my Chromecast on my TV without having internet by using the mobile hotspot. I was able to cast to my TV the first day I got it now I'm no longer able to ???

So long as you have access to the internet, whether LTE or WiFi. Without any sort of connection, no, I don’t believe so.

Is the GPS any good on it? I would like to use it for my Uber driving in my car
I wouldn't recommend using it for Uber. I think it would be underpowered for full-time navigation. It's good for things like social media, streaming TV shows, etc... As far as using it as an Uber navigation device, I don't think it would be the best solution. Of course, I could be wrong. I did not try it out using Google maps.
Tommy I don't see how it wouldn't be acceptable for gps with 4g and the processor. It will run like some medium level phones did a year or 2 ago.

You can put a SIM card in it all day long but it won't make phone calls I've heard that third-party tablet apps exist to where you can make phone calls such as the app called Viber but this hunk of junk never lasted long enough to even try that I could tell you got it for free because of all the nice things you said about it when actually it looked and felt pretty cheap to me glad I bought the free replacement with it that was just giving them money cuz they never replaced anything I'm not going to pay whatever $44 for Activation have the tablet last 4 days and then they want to send me a used refurbished unit no don't think so
Got my Alcatel Joy tab2 December 18th - 4 days later it was completely dead Metro T-Mobile didn't want to replace it with a new unit they wanted to send it off for warranty so I told them to keep the tablet and called my bank and disputed the transaction and got my money back, piece of junk... and it also has filters inside that won't allow you to type or visit certain types of websites sure you can figure that one out. I don't like anything censored

@@TechOdyssey I have full body tremors and I'm sure it's just as bad! I have a friend on Facebook his name is tourette'scop you should definitely check him out he makes videos as well! His is more vocal. I know my tremors can be very annoying :/

It definitely sucks. It took me almost 2 years on my channel before I would get in front of the camera. I was just tired of letting it bother and control me and said screw it. I'm going to make my videos the way that I want. Some days are worse than others for sure. It's defintiely annoying but nothing I can do about it. My vocal tics are very minimal but I have persistent neck and facial tics. Ill check out your friends channel though!
It has text messaging and Duo for video calls built in. You need LTE for the texting but Duo can be done over WiFi. You can of course use Skype or other apps for actual voice calls if you want. It just doesn't have a built in phone calling feature. Are you looking to get one of these?

Piece of junk. Never have I've seen a tablet so slow. Just bought it. Took 39 minutes to update the Google app in the play store . Took 3 days to update the system
