A blast from the past! This was my first lol cinematic i saw. Which one was yours?
My first one was A Twist of Fate.
I feel like it was mostly, yall gushing over the beautifully rendered scenes, characters and animation. heheh still great to watch.
Oh! you guys should watch some of Blur Studios VG cinematics.
I think it was "Trails if the Poro" , but i am not sure.

this is still such an amazing cinematic even now 9 years later 🤯 I come back to this one every so often cuz it's just so special! Loved how a lot of the analysis about the personality of characters is so uniform for everyone. Like it's so obvious to everyone watching and reacting to this how these characters behave and are as people that everyone draws the same conclusion and that conclusion is only drawn from movement and visual cues! Absolutely amazing work by the (in-house) animators involved.
Yes! I was so happy to hear that everybody appreciated to super nice acting and animation. Really goes to show how good of a job they did on this cinematic
And that's what I love about this film, not a single word but everyone gets what it's about.
And the fact that it's one of Leona's few appearances in cinematics.
Yesss!!! Leona needs more love! This is just what I love about animation, you can tell a story without dialog and it doesnt feel weird or unnatural but makes it even better
This was also the og cinematic for me, amazing how well it holds up. Thanks for the breakdown, you guys opened my eyes to stuff I hadn't noticed before.

Yeah i agree. I really enjoy the more story driven things they did in the more recent years but i will never say no to a action fight sequence like this one :D
When I first saw this animation I was blown away, all these years later it still holds up so well!
Agreed. Usually cgi ages really bad but this still feels really fresh even almost 10 years later

I also hope they give us more battle cinematics like this one but with the updated models. Lore and music videos are cool and everything but I feel like their best ones usually involve fights.

True, i really like them and how realistic the shading is. Sadly we are now officially done with reacting
