- This may be actually my first metal song I've reacted to/analyzed on my channel! I think this was the perfect song to break the ice. There was a lot to talk about between the video and the music, but man...hopefully you watched until the end because..that's when the REAL reaction happened O_O. They are actual champions,
The main vocalist with the mic: Karthus (His magic staff becomes his mic) (3:34)
The smaller guy from the grave with the bass guitar: Yorick (Shovel is bass guitar) (4:18)
The pianist with the chains and red hair: Sona (Her keyboard stays a keyboard) (4:59)
The big guy with the guitar: Mordekaiser (Mace is guitar) (5:44)
The drummer hitting the rocks: Olaf (Dual battle axes are drum sticks) (6:41)
The little creatures are Yordles, a race of the League of Legends world. Some recognisable ones are Teemo (0:01), Rumble (0:01), Tristana (4:23) and Poppy (5:06).
They make these videos to promote either events or (in-game) skin lines, this skinline was called Pentakill, it's great advertisement xD (I know from experience)
Other examples are the KDA skins and the True Damage skins.
Edit: The last champion flying in from above is Kayle (11:37), apparently she is a vocalist as well, but I'm not sure if she sang (part of) this song.
It's also great that they kicked that little guy (10:44), it's Teemo and he's (possibly) the most hated champion in LoL, people sometimes also refer to him as the devil, because of that he actually got his "Little Devil Teemo" skin.

They're actual champions in the game aswell, they took a bunch of champions that they could get away with giving some kind of instrument that could be featured in a metal song I guess
it's not all random, Karthus' title is literally the death singer, music is the main design aspect of Sona and Mordekaiser has/had quite many voicelines which point to him liking (heavy) metal and i mean... just look at him^^

the names of the abiities of mordekaiser used to be metal refernces. the original morde had abilities like: Syphon of Destruction, Mace of Spades and Children of the Grave. His passive was Iron Man. ^^

Actually only kayle rework has really chamged abit. Yoric here is post rework, Karthus sona and olaf are the same and even if the video came before this is using the current reworked mordekaiser pentakill skin, you can see it by his built the helmet the fact that old morde had long hair and when he first appears he's litterally xoming out of the death realm (his R). So ye morde rework actually got teased in this video lol.
Well I mean technically Sona isn't playing keyboard but she's playing the strings. I mean there is no keyboard in this song and in the lore she also plays stringed etwahl (a made up fantasy string instrument in the league universe).

As a huge metalhead I was worried you wouldn’t really have much to say about the vid since it’s not a genre you dabble much in. But you pointed out a lot of stuff about the song I haven’t noticed before. it was cool hearing your take
I like how you actually focus on the music and literally "dissect" the song. There's more than a handful of reaction channels already, but having a professional's take on one of the music video's elements, i.e. the music, is much more than just a breath of fresh air.

If you wanna talk lore-wise, Teemo is literally insignificant compared to every single one of them 😂.
Mordekaiser is invincible as he can enter both the afterlife and the world of the living as he pleases (but is currently sealed by Leblanc in the afterlife).
Karthus is a lich priest from the Shadow Isles, so he's basically immortal.
Yorick is also invincible to the Black Mist because of the tear he wears on his neck.
Olaf is fighting every possible monster in the world because he doesn't want the prophecy he was told to come true. (He wants to die fighting, not in his sleep.)
Sona can literally control him with her music alone.
Kayle... I don't know her lore well enough... but I think she's the aspect of light/justice? Should be enough to take care of him 🤷♂️.

2 : The release of a new skin for Kayle, one of League of Legends champion, which is the lady we can see comming from the sky.
She is the 2nd vocal-lead of the Pentakill group, she sang "Tear of the Goddess" if I'm not wrong. Noora Louhimo is actually the new singer in the group.

Bit of history about that little dude who was going to 'play his bugle thing'. I haven't played in years so this might be out of date, but this is why he has the reputation that he has.
That's Teemo. In game, his gameplay is all about poisons, traps, and hit and run tactics. He was one of the first champions to do so, and he can do both magic (in his poisons) and physical (his 'normal attacks), so building defense against him is difficult. He's also pretty easy to pick up, so a lot of people go against him.
In the lore, the little guys are all called Yordles. They have built into their psyche this fundamental need for community in some way, shape, or form. If they don't get that, their psyche starts to break down and they go insane. That was the reason why another character, Veigar, went from a Yordle with good intentions but bad execution of his plans to a super villain, because he was imprisoned by another country which denied him this attachment. Teemo on the other hand, *chooses* to spend prolonged times away from any community, going out on extended scouting missions that makes it so that he doesn't see anyone else for months at a time. He doesn't show any adverse affects on a surface level to his personality though.
Both of these things leads to a upbeat, perky character that kills you slowly with poisons and traps and the only thing you can really do to counter it is to spend your money (which is the main 'progression' in a match) on consumables, stunting your own growth while he does nothing to stunt his.
This is so good, especially with your reaction to Teemo.
Also, Riot released a skin for Teemo where he's Satan because of players looking at him as a wall of thrones in her back. People are definitely jumping at that moment.
Also, don't worry about the other Yordes. Do hope we see the Yorde rocking out with his banjo again.

All the characters are in the game. The video was made for the purpose of promoting a line of skins for these characters. The lead singer, for example, is a character called Karthus, and you can find his Pentakill skin in the game.
