To make this as clear as mud: - Bus Sim 21 DLC = 2 Trams - Tram Simulator = 6 trams To get all 8 you need to own a combo of either: 1) Tram Sim + Bus Sim 21 OR 2) Bus Sim 21 + Expansion Pass OR 3) Bus Sim 21 + DLC Why not release all 8 trams (including the missions) as part of the DLC or release all 8 trams into the standalone game? Call me cynical, but to me it’s a blatant marketing ploy to make you think you’re getting something ‘free’ when in reality you are being forced to buy into another product somewhere else. That’s the cash grab.
The most cost efficient way is option 3 I’d say. You likely have Bus Sim 21 so buying the stand alone gives you everything. The worst way is if you come in and buy the stand alone only (not owning anything else) and discover a bit of the “tram content” is behind Bus Sim 21 so you’d then need to buy the base game on top. It’s so strange in how they went about this.
@@cockneygamer I'll rather stay with "The Bus" as bus sims are concerned, and I operate trains in real life so I luckily don't need whatever money sack collection service this is.
@@cockneygamer It is still in early access, but I'd say it definitely improved. It has 4 different bus models now, including an unbranded Mercedes eCitaro, for which these cheeky bastards at aerosoft themselves, uploaded a mod on the steam Workshop adding the logos as textures. It also features like 6 lines now, but you can make your own as you can download custom made maps from the workshop. It does have its rough edges, which is to be expected from an early access title, but it's definitely going places. PS, when exactly do you use "wich" and "which"? Gas station p$do joke made me laugh out loud (on the tube) but you're definitely getting the blacklist now from them. Also they didn't even bother to put the power cables which you see above real trams. Lazy. Great review
Dovetail Games perfected this formula first. If you paid for every piece of Train Simulator DLC ever, you could probably buy the cheapest house in my hometown.
@@pendremacherald6758Check out City Transport Simulator: Tram. That's a very nice Tram sim already but Early Access, so there's still room for improvement, but on it's way to pole position. Really, it's worth it.
To make this clear: That clip of the tram ramming the fiat is 100% the cars fault. A tram can't stop in 2 seconds like a car could do. Just like a train they have bigger braking distances and they cannot stop from higher speeds on command.
It released on consoles a few days ago and I enjoy playing it on my PS5. However I have to agree with you that it didn't make any sense in the first place for the devs to mix up those two genres. Bus Sim 21 should have stayed only a Bus Simulator without rails on the roads etc.
Hey so fun fact, the tram dlc for bs21 was done nearly a whole year before it was released (it all came with the map expansion update), it was playable with a small exe tweak, (this includes school buses too) all content worked as it does in release and nothing changed once release occurred, no bugs were fixed, functionally all they did was just make you wait a long time for content that was done as soon as they announced it.
If it's a game you want don't let a review stop you. The whole purpose of reviews is to show us games good or bad and save a little money if it's not to our likings. But most of these so called reviewers are only in for two reasons. 1) get views/followers and 2)get free games. If money isn't an issue, and you see a game that's interesting to you then by all means pick it up or wishlist it for future sale. This game is under $20 and to me someone who also owns Bus Sim 21 I think it's a steal. Ive spent the same amout of money on crappy food from McDonald's that tastes like shit and becomes shit within a few hours but I still do it cause I want to. I believe this was released for those who wanted 21 but didn't want to go all in on $40. Some of these lower end youtubers need to go get a real job, seriously...!

I played the bus so long ago in early access that I need to boot it backup to see how it’s doing! Thanks for reminding me!

You said it spot on sir! After playing for 7 hours and being numb for 12, I was happy to get my refund! What a poor game this is!

They didn't even bother putting overhead wires...lol how are they getting power?
Nuclear reactors. Just swing open the maintenance hatch in the rear and insert a new fuel rod as needed. That's what she said.
No NPCs some old trams can get power from the tracks too
I was about to write the same thing!😂

i've met the devs of this game irl before they live in the city where i am from

lol, I misread the title when I first saw it.

Would you review train simulators?
Thank you for objective review.
You are most welcome!
7:05 made me laugh so hard, kids driving cars, shouldn't the police be havin a word with them?😂
Haha… it’s a strange game world this
(Granted it was the first sim that I played- I enjoyed Bus Sim 21) It'd be good if they still kept the buses in the game
What a joke! I hope they get it together for their next releases!
Think you're right about the blacklist.😂
Not really my kind of game anyway but good to know.
They add more realistic more trams and even tolly bus put different types classic and modern
I really want to get it.

You are too kind sir, thank you!
The tram cab looks so trash
😅😅😅 it was stolen from where. That funny
Look MAW, they copied Dovetail Games again... low effort, lots of bugs, copy & paste old stuff, asset flip, half arsed kindergarten simulation... Cheers
Just asked for a refund
