Amazing place👍 hallo frm sabah malaysia,,
Hello, thanks for watching.
What a great weekend that was!
We also did the 4Km flooded section on was back.
I wonder if my outlander can handle this trail, it's rated as able but everyone here is driving something so much bigger! I drive to Squamish here and there and never knew this place existed :O
I’m so glad I found your videos! Loved the commentaries. We’re from BC as well and only just got a capable enough vehicle to explore in.
Awesome, thank you. Of course check out the other videos on my channel. Be sure to drop me a comment.
Just found your channel. Amazing footage! Loved it.
Thanks, maybe check one of my other videos, that would be awesome.
That did look like an amazing trip! Those water levels though😬
We were camping right beside you guys! Great footage 🤘
What a great weekend. 👍
Beautiful video Kelly. Too bad about the loss of drone footage at the waterfall.
Thanks Mike.
Awesome video!! You found our #1 camping spot! The last shot up the mountainside - we’ve drive up there - amazing views!!! Just amazed at the water levels though…..
I watched your video as recon. I plan to go again late summer with the 4runner next time and head up that ridge. Let me know if you're interested.
@@Beacon_Offroad we are looking at going that way on Sunday - please join us if you can!!
@@RocknOverlanding unfortunately ill be unable to.
@@Beacon_Offroad bummer - well maybe next time - shoot us an email when you can - rocknoverlanding@icloud.com
just to give you a heads up, just posted a video showing the drive up the other side from the campsite and the views. Hope its ok, but I gave you a plug in the video - th-cam.com/video/xddO_SLpzgw/w-d-xo.html
We were camping in the elaho the night the big fire broke out a decade ago. We saw the smoke a km or 2 to the north just at sunset and by 6am the valley was filled with smoke. We packed up and got out of there and called it in. According the forest service we were the earliest report. Sad to see how the valley has changed since then
Excellent video
Thank you
First of all some great pics and video, something to keep in mind however is the area you camped on is spawning habitat in that system so driving and camping there is not great for the fry at that time of year.
Hey Carl, first off, thank you. Secondly, as an avid salmon angler myself, you're absolutely correct. The people in the video were not part of my group. Luckily this wasn't during spawning season as well. Because of actions like this, there has been tighter and more restriction in this area and rightfully so if people cannot respect the area.
It’s a beautiful place
Looks awesome up there. What km marker was your campsite at.
The rules have changed, and camping is no longer allowed near the river. Environmental impact stuff etc... I have to assume from people driving in the river like the guys in the vid. I think 55k or so.
Awesome video!
Thank you
Thanks for sharing. You were in my backyard, sort of...That area is beautiful. I heard/ read about all the people stuck that weekend. I was out there at the start of the heat wave and saw the water rising. Almost lost my GoPro I set up on a log for a night time-lapse. FYI, the water usually rises overnight due to the melt from the previous day. Those guys that went to the Island were reckless and lucky they did not get washed away. Use to be able to go out there and explore all day and barely see anyone. The Squamish Valley is now a Gong show!. Been out there a few times this year (mid week only) and when you start to see Tesla's on the FSR you know it has gone to shit. Sorry to be negative, just over all the Yahoos heading into the backcountry of "Squampton". PS, I do not include you and your crew in that category!
Thanks. With the ever increasing population and growing communities you have to go further and further out to be alone. I can remember as a kid camping in fishing just outside Squamish and thinking it was way out in the woods.
New format is killer, keep it up
Ready to see some flooded e-main action!
Nice commentary but did you stop and offer your help?
Thanks, No I didnt. I would be willing to but i had reason enough not to and dont really need to make excuses or explain myself.
Do you have the coordinate for the camp site at elaho
Sorry I dont but its really not all that hard to find on map. Especially if you use a offroad app like Gaia.
I wouldn't drive on a road I can't see, but seeing others do it would make me give it a try. Reminds me of cliff diving back in high school. My good friend wouldn't jump off a 60 footer but said he'd be behind me if I jumped. He nearly landed on my head, jumped before I had hit the water.
Notice I offered to follow 😂
@@Beacon_Offroad thanks for your help with me putting in my own lift. The video was helpful.
@@plutosforest awesome. Good job.

Sickk what fsr is this?
Squamish valley to elaho.
Hi, how long was each way? I found a trail in gaia that says 50km in 18 hours. Is that the one?
