    It seems like whenever you reinforce a veteran team with some young, hungry talent from AAA, good things happen. It worked for the Rangers last year. It’s working for the Astros now. It keeps things fresh.

      That does make sense, but last year those young players were top talent. Now I’m not saying our guys aren’t talented. Loperfido is but I agree with your thought process

    This team is looking a lot better. Losing half the starting rotation and still finding themselves closing in on 500, other teams are starting to slow down, catching up with injuries and fatigue, meanwhile our guys have been dealing with it all season. It’s definitely a marathon

    Super Astros... Sweeping the Oriels.... The bullpen is strong the last two games, the offense is crazy strong... Go Stros....

    It's awesome to see the offense fir off at home . It's even better the bullpen has held up except for the obvious

    I hope the Astros get to .500 next week. Great opportunity against the Rockies which is kinda ironic since they were the first team this season the Astros faced without Jose Abreu when he left for Florida and now, they might be the team the Astros can get back to a .500 record and also, finally, without Jose Abreu.

    Wow what a series Astros kicked butt. We finally made some changes at 1st Dubon can hold down 1st base we finally have Loperfido on the field and not on the bench added another hitter in Salad. We are bunting runners over. I just hope its not too late Lets Go.

    I think the pitching injuries have to do with wear and tear, and inflammation. Those long playoff runs are the reason .
    Loperfido looks good, he has alot of patience , good timing and is able to read the ball well and early from what i can see.

    We are Astros fans BUT did root for Orioles' Colton Cowser. His father was my husband's high school coach in the late 90s and still remain in touch. The Roysls drafted Cowsel a few years ago.

      Man, the O's just crushed the Yanks coming in. They are the 2 best AL teams. We swept them quite handily. This is a sign that things are lining up. Once we get SP back, Tuck back, and so on, we will make the playoffs.

    So where are all you guys calling for Bregman's head 9 days ago. Geebus man, Bregman pretty much carried this team at times between 2017 and 2022. So he had a bad patch...so has Altuve and Alvarez.
    Dude went 4 for 4 today, and his performance the last 6 days or so has been fantastic. But I guess baseball has become a "What have you done for me lately" thing.

    Send montero down so ur not tempted to put him in.also make him a starter in minors so u can finish off that arm that throws fastball with zero spin

  • @akiyajapan
    @akiyajapan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Bregman is also playing like his back is against the wall -- because it is. And not just with the Astros, but with any teams that may be interested in taking him. If he had continued on the way he started the season, then he would've burned the bridge with Houston and cost himself a really nice contract elsewhere.

The Al west is not the best but still up for grabs , it’s all about how hot you go in the playoffs. Nationals had a similar record when they won the championship.
