Tercas’ use of found clothing and personal items from the US-Mexico border in their artworks, created during the Bread and Salt residency, offers a poignant exploration of the complex topic of migration. Through these intimate materials, they aim to humanize the experiences of those affected by this issue, shedding new light and provoking profound reflections on this controversial topic.
This work is on view through the first half of July 2024 at Our Bread & Salt AIR Space is located at 7655 Girard Avenue La Jolla 92037 inside the Quint Gallery offices. if you can't make it to the opening May 18th you can still visit during regular hours Saturdays 11am-5pm or by appointment.
