    Good to see you getting back on track after the logger attack. Seems to be a nice claim. Keep the videos coming, we all enjoy them. Thanks.

    You helped me realise some mounds were not just shaft spoil and some were in fact 100 yr old ore piles. With free cassiterite and weathered material grading 1.2%, I now have antique specimen material to help start my Business - Lithium Valley Rocks... on Facebook. the giant lithium mine in Greenbushes is still a bit reluctant to give me their tourmaline and other uneconomic minerals so I'm following the old timers to locate other nearby finds that are long forgotten. I'm sure the surrounding exploration tenement holders will be happy with what is around. Greenbushes lithium is going to save 1/3 of the world :) can't wait for your next video.

    your nuggety creek, thought of shifting rocks to alter the turbulence patterns of the spring meltwater flow? my river has only dispersed fine gold so during summer I dive (mask and snorkel) and reconfigure bed to make my own micro-placers. it works, I get up to 50 colours in low pressure drop zones behind "riffles". expect you could concentrate the chunky gold in that Creek you can't use heavy equipment. i also use geotextiles with some logs and rocks to make a easy dam to get access to creek bed, then move rocks, use a broom to sweep in combination with controlled water release. shovel gravel into home made hydrocyclone (old Webber BBQ) fed from little dam. can process way more than panning alone and capture flour gold. wish I had your Creek. :)

    glad those loggers were more of a help than a hindrance! :D

    A few years ago, I bought an 1950s gold mine town in the Sierra's. The town burned twice and was moved a block. I have pictures from 1860s and you can see the areas. I think a lot of it was hydraulic mined, but I've found several shaft locations. Too much junk for a metal detector, I got the minelab 7000, and can dig 3' for a boot tack, lol. So, I have an excavator but trying to figure out the best way to approach this hobby.

    That first flooded one yall found sounds like it might only be a prospect. Good silver numbers. Be safe out there

    I've been a sub for not to long, have watched some of your vids but I had no baseline to tell what was really going on. The vid with the loggers snafu is now my baseline & now I watch every vid. So my question is. Was this area easily accessible? As in. Did you have to backpack your samples out? Where now you can pull your truck up to the front door.

      Before we had had an old rough logging road that was dug out about 200 meters below this new shaft we found now theres access from 3 different sides of the mountain which bring you within 75m of it, the deep shaft you can now park beside basically. Access wasn't bad before it just wasn't to good on the trucks paint and tires 😉

    Love your videos. Question: what are you doing with all these claims? Are you extracting metals yet?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Prospecting with the intent to get juniors intrested. We will only mine if it's amazing grade and small scale. Some of them we are paid to prospect.

    And thanks for the education. Found a periodic table to help me. Not as hard core as you but it will help. Am going to Keystone, Wyoming when the darn Badger Creek fire is out. It's just 43+ miles from me west. Oops, I mean 69.20 km. Keystone is rich in mining history. Google it.

    How long did it take you to learn all you know about rocks and minerals because there's just so much to learn and I can't remember all of it when watching your videos?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Started when I was 15 so about 15 years. I still learn every day. Theres around 5000 types of minerals, its impossible to know them all. If theres one I haven't dealt with and have to in the field I take the time to learn everything about it.

    None of my business But. Are you affiliated with a currently working mine or are you prospectors for hire?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No we have our own sets of claims. We stake claims with intent to get a junior mining company to option them or buy them if we dont and find nothing we let them lapse. The second part is we get hired to do prospecting for individuals or companies. A lot of companies have properties in our area but they operate accross country so it's easier to hire some local and who knows the BC area, there's also people who are new to the prospecting thing who come to us for knowledge about the area and to do prospecting for them. We have a few claims we have done small scale mining on ourselves for a few tonnes here and there but usually we dont mine. And now we try to entertain on TH-cam as well 😉

    you need a hand held xray machine like Cody'sLab has that thing would be seriously useful in the field.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      J.A.Ratt85 We have rented one on a couple occasions but they cost around 10-30 grand to buy which isn't in our budget...once we hit it big 😉, only trouble with that is you can't use XRF for assessment reports really so we have to send in samples anyway, it would help pinpoint which samples or areas to send our samples in from though.

    I can't help but wonder how do you get the water out of the shaft ?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well be pumping it out eventually, theres three we will pump out, the one that's 600 feet deep we are just gonna pump down a bit.

    • @highenergyog
      @highenergyog 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      911 Mining & Prospecting 600 feet ? Now that's deep , this may sound crazy nut I'd love to throw on some scuba gear and go down as far as possible.( Yes I have life insurance) . I've hit up the cave that I discovered a couple years ago when it was flooded on a few occasions but I don't have a waterproof camera to take in with me. The cave has been named after me .Lol. I was contacted by Guelph University professor Michel Gordon and he decided to name it - Lloyds Lair. There are a few videos on TH-cam.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is deep not sure how clear the water would be. But that would be fun!

    I have a rock that i found metal detecting that is insane heavy. And super full of pyrite and other unknown sulphides a person can see. The weird thing is that i can pass electricity through the rock. I can hook up a 9 volt battery with 2 wires. And put one wire on one side of the rock and rub the other wire on the other side of the rock and it sparks. This rock also makes my compass go nuts. Does anyone have any ideas what ive found cause i dont have a clue even after well over 100 hours of researching. Please help.

    Too bad you didn't replant any trees, you seem very entitled to the surface and not just the minerals.
    "To avoid legal complications, it is best to use the logs on the claim. If you remove trees/logs from your claim, this may be "logging" crown timber"

      But if you're American I understand, most of you guys don't understand the concept of environmental preservation. Seems like you're just in it for the profit. Like you believe 'tress don't matter I'm just going to take what's under them, until the area is someday reclaimed by someone else then they have to deal with it'

    • @911mining
      @911mining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We didnt log the logging companies did...we prospect them and own the mineral rights.
