Designed to respect a tradition that has lasted forty years, the new engine adopts the rational 90° transverse V twin layout but with 563 new parts, and introduces for the first time a single overhead cam valve timing and silent running Morse chains to operate the four valves per cylinder.
Progettato nel rispetto di una tradizione quarantennale, il nuovo motore ricrea, con 563 particolari inediti, la razionale architettura del bicilindrico trasversale a V di 90°, introducendo la distribuzione monoalbero a camme in testa, che comanda, per mezzo di silenziose catene "morse", 4 valvole per cilindro.
