2zzge Valve Cover Gasket Replacement

Kick it with me in the garage part DIY part Vlog. (TH-cam removed sound. Neil Young wont let me make ad money. He's still dope tho. TF youtube? i enjoy classic rock when wrenching.
You will need :
Valve cover torque specs
Bolts = 80 in.lbs
EGR pipe. 80 in.lbs
FIPG - amzn.to/3sHsxSg
OEM Toyota gasket - www.toyotapart...
OEM Tube Seals - www.toyotapart...
10mm deep/shallow sockets + extensions
In.lbs torque wrench
magnet tool is helpful
Hose clamp pliers (or your tool of choice to get hose clamps off)
Brake Cleaner or APC of your choice.
Razor blade/scraper
good vibes. classic rock optional (apparently)

I know the pain. Took off the strut bar to make it easier. Still fought it.
The pipe for the secondary injection was the one that kept pissing me off.

i was worried about breaking it lol its literally like 2mm of play needed

I did, toyota fipg on where the timing cover meets the valve cover. It's in 2 spots

btw i liked your idea about using plastic body panel pry to help remove the cover. picked some up cheap at harbor freight, hope they help with the job. thanks for the vid

@@yanb1981 I got the same ones and they've been indispensable 😂 def reduces the chance of scratching the mating surfaces. Glad it was some help, good luck with the job 🤘🏼
