Seeing this 9 years after put a massive lump in my throat. A military veteran here in Scotland and myles you will be 18 now a man who's heart is as big as the 9 years difference in time. Your dad will be truly proud as I am of you. I salute you and thank you for paying it forward

You could hear the reporter getting choked up when he said: "someone would be very proud". Maybe what I'm about to say is controversial, but I hope Myles doesn't enlist. It's possible that he wants to follow in his father's footsteps but he could change thousands of lives with his kind heart if he applies it in humanitarian work. I also don't want to see him changed by the things he would see while fighting. He is a pure-hearted and optimistic boy and I hope he grows until a pure-hearted optimistic man.
