and i observed that majority of fastest smashes were hit from Round the head or backhand side smash position , in contrast to forehand side jump smashes.
So it wasn't me going insane then. I hit faster smashes (for a social player) from the round-the-head position. Especially when I jump towards the birdie.
@@badmintonInfosyed I mean it's not wrong, less tensioned strings do impart more force back into the bird... but lower tensions do have other negative aspects like a lack of consistency. So there are plenty of other reasons you'd want higher tension, since there is more than just the smash to badminton.
Note in the string tension: Less tension gives more general power but also less control
Higher tension gives less general power but has better control
I JUST DISCOVERED THIS CHANNEL AND OMGG, WHY IS THIS SO UNDERRATED ????

probably it's because there's a higher momentum to twist the hip
It's because you can naturally rotate your body into the bird from the backhand side with a forehand smash.

Airchy , when are u selling in India ?
The whole video is full of fluff, zero substance.
Yeh its full of yapping, they dont know what they’re talking about
@@sai_beo they literally said NOTHING about body mechanics 😂
I suspect it's AI generated content
The video has no facts. Loose tension doesn’t generate more power. There’s a sweet spot when it comes tostring tension.
