    So here's my advice for anyone really looking for a crazy smash (note: it's from researches and several experimentations I did myself so feel free to have any critics): Body techniques: Jump slightly sideways. Open your chest as full as possible to allow for the best twist of your body. You MUST push your chest forward and twist yourself (as fast as possible). Lastly, your racket arm must be contracted as tightly as possible and released after the twist. I, myself, did hear that a relaxed grip that tightens right after the arm swing will give maximum power but I could not learn the technique myself so I couldn't have any comment on it. (Your body at the moment of contact should be fully extended with your arms in FRONT, not above, of your body though not too in front) Specification: There's a sweet spot on your racket just below the upper rim about 2-3 strings down that has higher tension than the middle part, it helps like CRAZY with the smash and accuracy. ( this is the single biggest discovery in my badminton journey as a dilettante) Do remember that this power smash takes a lot of time to set up so do allow yourself the most time possible with accurate plays leading to it or you won't get the fastest speed.

    Note in the string tension: Less tension gives more general power but also less control Higher tension gives less general power but has better control

      The video has no facts. Loose tension doesn’t generate more power. There’s a sweet spot when it comes tostring tension.

    • @myclamish
      @myclamish วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@badmintonInfosyed I mean it's not wrong, less tensioned strings do impart more force back into the bird... but lower tensions do have other negative aspects like a lack of consistency. So there are plenty of other reasons you'd want higher tension, since there is more than just the smash to badminton.

    Hello! Please allow me a bit of constructive criticism regarding audio: you need to be able to listen to your video like somebody hearing it for the first time. You know your script, so you already know the words that you're saying, which in this case probably prevented you from noticing that in the beginning of your video the music is too loud compared to your voice, which made me have to focus hard to understand what you were saying, the music was in the way.
