    Just wanted to let you know that your notes are aesthetically pleasing!! I’ll be trying this for my second semester of nursing school 💜

    I’m gonna try this method of yours for my upcoming senior year of nursing school! I like the way you format everything you can in one page! I feel like the only thing I would do different is continue annotating on my iPad. TYSM for this video!!!

    This video was so helpful! Can you go over how you made the layout for your notes. Like how you were able to fit so much information on the page.

    I totally agree on annotating. I got my first iPad this past Xmas, and I’m like how the heck does everyone make their notes lol so darn animated and creative. Lol I’m also in nursing school and as you said we clearly do not have time for all of that. I’m starting MED SURG next week and I think I’m going to use your concept of note taking.

    This is almost exactly how I take my notes but I use my android tablet. I like to set up my notes with a cute font in Microsoft Word then upload it to one note to annotate on my tablet. I think the biggest help to is using an ebook for diagrams and using the snip and sketch tool. Notes for tests take me half the time as handwriting them did. And I like being able to look up notes whenever and wherever.

    If you want the handwritten look but with typing you can make a font using your hand writing. If that's something that interests you.

    I’m in my 3rd semester of college! And I find that it takes me forever to write my notes and I easily get behind on my school work. But! After this video I’m gonna try typing my notes in word for now print them and annotate

    How long does it take you to put all of your information together?? Awesome video. I printed off so much paper last semester but want to condense all important information into a couple pages.

    Hi, I am an inspiring nursing student and I wanted to ask, did you find that you could take notes, write papers, and all other school work on your iPad or did you need a laptop too? I am debating if I should invest in a laptop or an iPad for school.

    • @sweggyunicorns
      @sweggyunicorns  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This video was recorded when I was in first year so lots have changed since then. I did find my ipad useful when starting but I switched to my laptop since it could handle more files and has more storage! For nursing, I definitely can’t say which is better since it depends on the person, but currently I use my MacBook for everything, which contains my online textbooks, PowerPoints and notes which an ipad can handle but personally, I’d choose a laptop! It really depends on you but for nursing school, and ipad can only do so much whereas your laptop can hold more files and storage, which is perfect for all the years in school. I hope that helps!

    Loved this video! For nursing school, do you think an ipad is best for notes or your laptop? Or both??

    • @sweggyunicorns
      @sweggyunicorns  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Personally, I recommend an IPad just because it’s more interactive than a laptop! but it completely depends on the person, I just like how the IPad is touch screen and is easily to carry around everywhere! I also have my textbooks downloaded onto it so everything is just in one place :)

      @@sweggyunicorns how many gb would you recommend?

    • @sweggyunicorns
      @sweggyunicorns  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on the course load and content you wanna store on the IPad, mine is 128gb, I would recommend either 64gb or 128gb! the differences in price is about $50 so it wouldn’t hurt to get a bigger storage :)

    • @sweggyunicorns

      I got it from best buy and the brand is Logitech! Same goes for the pencil too! It’s definitely a better option if you cannot afford the Apple Pencil

      Thanks! we don’t have clinical days now because of COVID, but I know once I go back to campus, the clinical doesn’t cost money but transportation we will have to pay ourselves! That’s all I know but I’m not sure because my campus is closed!

      Really? haha I feel the opposite, I tried typing up all my notes but it took too long whereas, copying and pasting it takes shorter time. It just depends on the person though! Some days I would feel like to type them and some I would just copy and paste the info into notability :) I did try typing on the side of the slides back in high school, but it didn’t help me much when studying, it was too distracting for me, but it really depends on the person and their style :)
