Haha didn’t know it had an Allen wrench hidden on the tool. Thanks!
I watch other video show diffrent tool, until I saw this onr
Me too 😂
What is the part # for the included now lost Allen blade wrench that fits on the side? Thanks M
I was skepticle of a 20 volt circular saw. But I have several B&D 20 volt batteries and the drill Works great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxjpBI8OOeUXib_iT7UomCrQ-uauwZJ62c . I saw the 4 stars and some glowing reviews so decided to purchase this saw. Well, leave your money in your pocket and run a cord because this little saw won't cut
*Works great **MyBest.Tools** on small lumber and much lighter than large circular saws.*
I am good with USING tools but never had to change a blade... this helped me. I was able to change my blade safely. Call me old fashioned. I just purchased a DeWalt corded saw... (my first) and I suppose NOW, I could also purchase a cordless saw since cordless technology has come a long way.... Thank you for this video.
Thanks! Best removal and installation video for circular saw blades. Straight to the point.
This explanation was outstanding. Concise, with all the info that was needed, and great tips. Thank you so much.
Why would you call a video with a VITAL MISSING STEP "outstanding"?
So glad you made this video. Really needed it. Almost got out a whole tool box just to replace the blade lol
Thank you for this, I needed to find out how to lock the mechanism so I could undo the bolt. Great vid.
How do you lock it?
Mine still keeps turning.
@@zippymo672 th-cam.com/video/apjn8CYsx9Y/w-d-xo.html To bush the button all the way in you might need to rotate the blade slightly for it to fully push down.

My wife bought me this saw for my birthday. thanks for the video, because I was completely lost without it brother.
Thank you!!! The manual it comes with doesn’t tell you ANYTHING!
But, but, but, ... lots of unexplained pictures!!
Incredible tool but I needed your expert blade-installation video in order to feel comfortable using it. Excellent video, excellent circular saw!
I’m glad you found the video. I was looking for an allen key at first and then saw it came with one ha ha. Thanks for watching
Great. Clear, simple, direct!
Beautiful!
Thank you.
Great video. Showed me what I needed to see. I wanted to see how to hold the shaft when changing blades.
I tried to loosen the nut with a crescent wrench not know all I needed was the Allen wrench that was still on the saw 🤣🤣🤣thanks so much for this video, I will now be ready a book on how to remove circular saw blades for Dummies hahaha
Great video, thank you for your time
Nice easy explanation! Thanks
Great video! I have had more of these given to me with bolt heads broken off! Makes them a perfect candidate for trying out the 2 part epoxy to remove the broken piece still in the saw. I have been taking them apart for years to fix them.
Ah, so that's why my blade was touching the guard (I had the blade on top of the Washer! ) This video helped. (even though I've got the DCS573) Thanks,
Thanks for posting!
Thank you! Best blade removal and installation video.
UMMM no; this one is better as there are NO missing steps: th-cam.com/video/sWYilqgjjZg/w-d-xo.html
Great tutorial. Thank you.
Many thanks. Not had a circular saw before so I was getting nervous about the whole thing.
Thank you! Took me while to find you, last one I saw he told use another tool, not the one come with, thanks good teaching
I just start using dewalt cordless tools, I will follow to watch
Thank you for making this Video the Instructions were not Stright forward but this video was Cheers 🍻😉🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very helpful, thank you 😊
Son of a... reversed. Thanks much, was struggling.
Thank you!
Thank you...thank you!! exactly what i was looking for!
Thank you so much man. Just saved my ass from looking like a complete moron
Thank you
Great Video. Thorough instructions.
Thank you , the manual did not explain this well.
Thanks helped me install a blade
Appreciate this
I should buy one of these just because of it being cordless. I have a skillsaw but its corded. Plus the Dewalt one does not cost all that much.
thank you . nice video... from kirkuk city - Iraq.
Good sh!t only man to help
I wish Dewalt would have made a more secure feature to retain the allen wrench better. I keep loosing mine all the ti e. It slips out way too easy. There's gotta be a hack for this to better prevent it from always happening so much.
I figured out a way to fix it. I put two pieces of heat shrink tubing on it, a longer one on the arm portion, and a shorter portion on the head. Now it fits very snuggly and does not slip out!
Thanks, Greg. I'll be doing that today.@@gregsewell0
Great video, just bought a new one and it was missing the instructions.
Great video. right to the point.
My man! Appreciate you
Thanks for help
Blade direction is stamped into the lower blade guard in case anyone was wondering. (Don't know why they didn't add the Lefty-Tighty, Righty-Loosey instruction while they were at it.) Reverse threads can really ruin your day!
Thank you for the video
Great video!
You absolute legend! Thank you
This made my day good smoother thanks
Thank you sir for your help! 11-27-2020 .
Got it, thanks brotha
Thank you. Made things easy and its self explanatory. Good work sir was wondering if they'd supplied the key
Thanks!!!! I did it!!!
Your awesome. Thanks alot.
Thanks good video! What is the part # for the Allen wrench that is included with my dsc393? I Lost mine !
Thanks much!!
Thanks
Hi I do the same thing but my blade has a little bit play and as a result my cuts do not come very straight. Do you have any ideas ?
Help! When i put my allen key in it just keeps rotating and the bolt isn’t loosening the whole mount just keeps spinning.
Lock guard! Thank you!
Can you give us a sensible torque setting for the nut please?
Exactly what I was looking for 👍👍👍👍
You might like my playlist as well th-cam.com/play/PLIjr-uSYDZi5pChZYgD2fXqAq5OaKrW8s.html
it’s too tight and i can’t remove it ): plus every time i turn it on it jams and makes a beeping noise. please help
it shows to turn to the right to loosen and to the left to tighten. maybe youre tightening it
Great video🔧🔧🔧🔧
Thank you!!!!!!
BOSS... Thank you..!!
You dont show how to lock the allen bolt
How do you put on the dust/vacuum attachment that comes with it - it looks like it somehow attaches from behind.
I don’t have one for this model, but if it’s like my DeWalt sander it screws on about 1/2 of a rotation
Hi Danny! a great video! What brand of 5mm socket are you using in This video? Is it a 5mm socket with a hex bit on The other end that fits the blade. Just what I was looking for to help me with correct size blade removal tool! Thanks George
I believe it was a craftsman, but any brand should work if it’s the correct size
So any 5mm socket. Will do ? Thanks
Mine blades spinning when trying to get it off
Is your saw left handed?
Great
What can i do if the hole is stripped?
🙏🙏🙏
Is anyone else’s bolt spinning with the washer that has words on it
I'm a female, grew up doing construction with my stepdad during the summers. I swear if it werent for youtube I wouldnt know half this stuff.
Literally no one asked
WHHHHHY is this just spinning the whole thing? is there supposed to be a button you hold to lock the wheel from spinning THEN you llosen? like with an angle grinder?...
The one shown in the video is reverse thread, meaning you turn it clockwise to loosen it, which is generally the opposite the old phrase “righty tighty, lefty loosey” not sure if that helps. It’s designed this way so it does not come loose from the blade turning
Free heating. Hahaha. Right
Thank you - that was helpful
Thanks. This was very helpful!
Thank you
Thank you for the video
Thank you!
Thanks.
Thank you!!!
Thank you.
