I definitely agree. But when you are renting for just a month and via airbnb you are going to get an inflated price. If I rented this place normally and for a year the monthly cost would be way less.
Lol I wanted to write that it can’t be true that an apartment of that standard is so cheap, and wanted to prove you wrong. So I went to otodom and searched for apartments in Poznan. And krwa, you’re right 😅 big beautiful apartments for $800-900. maybe I should consider moving to Poznan from Warsaw…
Yeah I'm definitely paying for the location. But it's been worth it especially because I don't have far to stumble home after a night out in the old town 😂🥴
For 1500$ you could find something without squeacky wardrobe :) For few people maybe, but still too expensive. You can rent good qulality apartment around 700-800$ in Poznań - I live here and am currently looking for an apartment. (I am talking long term rental, so propably for a month it costs alot more).
I agree this is expensive. But it's because I'm renting for only 1 month and via airbnb which includes all bills. Since it's only a month's stay the price is inflated. If I rented somewhere for a year the monthly cost would be way less, more like the price you mentioned.
In 1793 - that is, after the Second Partition of Poland, when the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was falling and Poland was erased from the map of Europe through three partitions, Poznań found itself within the borders of Prussia. For over 125 years - that is, throughout the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, the city lived and developed under German rule. Poznań was one of the capital and religious centers of the Piast state in the 10th and 11th centuries, in the past it served as the seat of the rulers of Poland, and was also one of the most developed fortresses in Poland at that time. The capital of Greater Poland was one of the royal cities of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland and the capital of Poland in the years 1290-1296. Poznań is one of the oldest cities in Poland to be founded - it was granted city rights in 1253. The city had the right to actively participate in the act of electing the king. The Poznań cathedral contains a symbolic tomb of the first rulers of Poland - Mieszko I and Bolesław I the Brave. The island of Ostrów Tumski is the seat of the curia of the Poznań archdiocese - the oldest in Poland, and the second oldest university in Poland. The stronghold of Ostrów Książęcy, today Ostrów Tumski, together with two outlying strongholds: Ostrów za Cybiną (today's Śródka) and Św. Michał (later Św. Jan) formed the oldest part of today's Poznań. The venue for the elective assemblies of the Poznań voivodeship from the 16th century to the first half of the 18th century. Performances of the nobility of the Poznań voivodeship of the First Polish Republic took place near Poznań. In 2008, the complex of the oldest districts of the city was declared a historical monument.
I suppose if two or three of you are sharing the space, the costs are not so very great. The living room is huge so there would be space for several people to sleep at the same time. Otherwise, $1500 for Poland is a lot of money, more like London prices.
It's definitely a lot of money. It was more of a treat than a typical stay for me. As you said if a few lads rented the place and split it a few ways it would work out quite affordable as there was no shortage of room. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy.
@@GallivanterDom true that bro, here in Poland this price is good for 1 month if you want to live inte the centre of town, but you can also live 2 months for this price somwhere else in Poland :D depends what you prefer hehe ;) I'm glad you enjoy my country!
this is expensive as fk normal rental value probly half that :D

I live in Poznań and normal price for this is probably 800$ but only if you rent it for a year ;) So in that case 1500$ for AirBnb is good.
@@stanisawkorzeb1332 Yeah it's not bad for just 1 month :)

The Poles I know are very sociable, nice folk.
It's a pre-war building. They generally look like that. New ones not so much.
@@Null_Vampyrr Yes I like the pre-war style for sure, high ceilings and large windows
