To be fair, I'm not sure a hobbyist would need 3 sets of soldering equipment either...
They've technically been promoting DigiKey for free for years with previous videos and component purchases, so this was kind of a "Thank you for all the past promotions" gift to them. With the amazing builds that they've done with DigiKey components, I'd say that they've more than earned it. Props to DigiKey for coming through and supporting them as well and making it easy for electronics hobbyists around the world to access parts for their builds!
