Appreciate Video! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Trentvorty Fitness Life Theorem (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one off guide for learning how to design your own Iron Man suit minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend after many years got astronomical results with it.

If they weaponized it they would/should make the thrusters detachable so that way you could go from traveling to combat ready in just a few moments. I say that based off of today's tech atleast, maybe in the future with further R&D they could make one badass suit in the right hands.

Electric self driving cars are the future, Musk wants to build a hyperloop system that you can put your car into a pod and travel up to 600 miles in 30 minutes. and since its self driving all you need to do is put your destination and it goes there for you

Adam has built an iron man suit. The cave suit from the first movie. He could build this suit as well. The point of this however was to demonstrate the 3d printing of titanium and flying around with the jetpack. Also he is the sole reason why they printed that iron man suit in the first place and I wouldnt be surprised if he was heavily involved in the design and planning.

When Gravity Industries created their jet suit they originally had thrusters on the legs and arms just like Iron Man but it kept flipping the pilot over on his rear end.
So instead they settled for the arms being the main thrusters and the legs had to dangle below.
When they started filming Iron Man they put Robert Downey Junior in a harness to film him flying around and found something similar with the harness.
The arms had to support most of the weight while the legs simply hung below other wise he kept flipping over.
The main thruster is on the back now. The thrusters on arms provide the balance and partial lift
Might wanna re-watch the documentary on it. To get the right motion of being supported in mid-air by one's lower half, the result was a harness that pulled up from the feet, with the cables stabilized at the waist.
They need a cpu to control flight with nothing on arms at all. Put rockets all over body equally have the cpu control movement based on leaning like a segway
They should've invited Robert Downey Jr to go see it I wonder what his reaction would be

Have you tried making the arc reactor with a core containing 1.6 grams of a substitute for palladium? I don't know much about the technology, but if it generates as much as it can in its small size, it could provide some extra power for lifting the weight of the suit...maybe.

@@ronniefromdk well Steve Jobs and Adam Savage here aren't really comparable because Steve Jobs had a MUCH MUCH more significant impact on Apple and the iPhone and such than Adam did in this process.
This is just awsome to watch. Every technology just needs to be improved over time. Get smaller cheaper and overall better. Imaging having two improved little versions of those engines in the back, one on each arm and leg. That makes it super harder to use probably but that should make an Ironman suit almost identical to Tony's.
He actually talked about why there's no jet engine on the legs: during liftoff they're way too close to the ground and can damage it, and in the air your feet instinctively start to pedal and you lose control

The armor probably won't stop most rifle rounds, considering that they shot it with a .45 ACP presumably 230g FMJ at around 850fps the large surface area combined with low velocity tends to have poor armor penetration capabilities. This armor is Impractical on the battlefield until it can handle rifle cartridges in excess of 2,000fps.

Funny how they move with the suit on looks more like CGI than the actual movie.
It has almost all its hinges done wrong, as well as breastplate articulation. Why don't this artists study medieval armor, where most of this issues were already solved?
@@solarissv777 The movies had the hinges on sliding underpinning (that was somehow still armored?) and this version had those parts bolted together without any sliding with his motion. I think that the adjusted the design because they assumed the bolts were a single layer instead of looking at how the move had the parts move and seeing that it was a layered device (though the movie uses the inner layers for the motors, there were some parts for articulation.)

@@unfinishedanimations458 HackSmith didn't do anything first. This dude started to develop his gear long before HackSmith even started talking about flying with electric ducted fans. All his efforts were a complete waste of time other than using it for content on his channel. He got as far as 3D printing some fans that eventually exploded. The project ended there. Please don't compare HackSmith to this guy.

I’m making iron man in my garage, made of pure iron, it’s heavy but you know. It also has the strongest laser in it and has air and fire thrusters that almost lift you up, still working on that but it also has an accurate missile that’s a real weapon but see you guys in the skys.

Not in million years,,,unless he fries the assailant with his jets he is utterly useless,,,any normal person can trip this awkward show piece,,and if someone manages to give him a good tilt as he flys off he will smash into the ground with his own jets,,it's all theatrical and is utterly useless in real life,,the biggest obstical for it to being real is the jets,,,unless a new technology is invested were the flying mechanism can be confined to just hands and feet like the movie ,,and also the suit is so immobile and cannot stop even a low caliber bullet,,this suit requires that energy,, engine technology and materials technology should advance as much as computers did in the last 50 years,, I doubt it will ever be developed even if technology advances that far because robots and drones make iron man obsolete as they can do everything iron man can without mortal risk,,, in real life iron man cannot be invincible
