This is not a spoiler for the campaign and also not confirmed from Haslab or Avalon Hills: Another thing I heard from another channel is that AtOH may include an Arena Battle mode (which was not a part of the original AtOH. Which (I'm guessing) could possibly include a mini battle board (separate from the main quest board)..... but it's just a rumor.
the Ogre Warriors having variable body points from 1 up to FIVE (from the original 1990 version) to me is a better choice. I hope they retain some variability anyway (even if they cap the lower BP at 3). I've only played Phoenix's conversion (and there only the first four quests) but I think expanding and tweaking the original is fine and expected in the remake. makes me wonder what this "THE ARENA" will be like... I enjoy the content!
I hope for 10 (or more) super quality quests, one big boss (2x1 or 2x2 like frozen horror?), a big board tile, some special mechanic (so the ogres aren't just a bag of hit points, but that you need to have some strategy or technique to down them).
@@mrk131324 The point of games like this for many people is immersion and role play. Just because you feel that way is completely irrelevant and unsolicited. If you want my personal position, I couldn't care less what type of character I play. But to get others more involved and invested is why I brought it up.
@@mrk131324 it's also quite a stupid point to make since they literally do make both genders for the playable characters. But they're not easily obtained. Be it in expansions or exclusives. What they did with the rogue and monk is what the ought to do with all characters. That or put them in the base game. Making them available as separate character expansions is perfectly fine. I'll happily give them more money on top of the base cost. Better business idea.
If I’m not mistaken after Ogre Horde and maybe Wizards there are no more old 90ties expansion to rerelease. AH has to come up with something original finally - like an advanced game play expansion or whatever. Correct?
I’m always thrilled for new expansions. Even though it’s tough to get people together to play lol.
the struggle is real! I've been trying to get a dedicated group together since the original game came out. 🤣
@@phil4_8 haha I used to play the original all the time. Now everyone has kids… kids who always seem to have the flu.
Just use the app' and play solo.
Wish granted: Avalon Hill confirmed there will be 10 Quests.
Can't wait to get this expansion. I hope they also do Wizards of Morcar (Zargon?) New subscriber here. Best wishes for the New year.
I got it! It seems pretty awesome... like 2 games in one... HeroQuest now has a skirmish ruleset!
I remember this was my favorite expansion as I child. I feel I liked it because of the outside tile. Nice video, I subscribed.
Can't wait to play this expansion !!!
Same here, got my $40 waiting to drop on this lol
I'm hoping the Ogre chief is as big as the frozen horror.
Just found your channel, good work, enjoyed this vid
This is great! I started playing Heroquest with my daughter
Great video! Keep up the great work!

An arena battle mode! That would be awesome.
Just found channel. Great job
Thank you, looking forward to doing more!

All great points. Let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏿
Looking forward to this one😃
I'm just getting into this. They really need to launch all characters in both genders. My wife would appreciate it.
Or you just play whatever gender is available without being too discriminating about it. It has no game play effect whatsoever.
