Hi, does the high voltage accelerate the particles whilst the syringe is being pumped by the syringe pump? Or does the voltage alone pull the particles out of the needle?

Hi Omar, Thank you for the questions. The solution is being pushed by the pump, and the voltage will pull the solution towards the collector.

Hi, is there a problem if i turn off high voltage suddenly by cutting off the supply source

Hi, yes you shouldn't turn off the high voltage by cutting off directly. Once in awhile due to safety reason you may do so but in long term it will damage the high voltage power supply. The correct method to do so is to slowly reduce the voltage until 0 before shutting it down.
