    * Thanks for all of the camera angles, Laura! I know it takes a lot of extra work to set up the camera in all of those areas and it makes your projects take a lot longer. Please know the different angles are appreciated!
    * Also, working fertilizer into the ground where a plant is already growing used to be a mystery to me. I couldn't understand how I could use a shovel to dig up the earth to work in the fertilizer when the roots of the plant are just under the surface. Then, enter LAURA into my life! Just "scratch" it into the surface of the soil. So simple! Over the years of watching you, I have learned so many helpful things. I love learning from you! ❤ 🌼🌷🌲🌷🌼❤

I love to watch you work because you work so efficiently and effectively! I learn great techniques from you and I bet you don’t realize you even do it. We are the same size and I can’t always use the same long handled tools or methods as taller people do. Today, my jaw dropped when you raked the shrub bits into a pile, laid the kangaroo bag on its side, straddled it and pulled the pile into the bag😮 💡💡💡🌟🌟🌟BRILLIANT! What a back saving move! I also pay attention to the long handled tools you use and buy them. So much more comfortable and lighter than my old 6 foot man size ones! I can get more done with less pain and effort 👏👍🏻🌸. You totally ROCK GARDENING ❤

Yep, we all need to think of our backs and other body parts that can be permanently damaged by straining and lifting. Wish I had realized this earlier!

Laura, I followed your pruning and fertilizing techniques for climbing roses this year. Oh my I have beautiful roses. These roses have never bloomed and I was going to pull them out but decided to give them one more chance.
Thank you so much. I was just so excited to see so many blooms. ❤️

Get a stepping stone kit and make a stepping stone with Benjamin and put it on that round stone. 😊 You could use his handprint or Samantha's foot. Lots of fun stuff to use in them like glass gems, stain glass pieces, etc. You definitely need to add these to your garden! It will hold up better if you just have it as decor rather than walking on them.

I am still stuck with some overgrown, burly looking grown cover evergreens, but those are SOOO deeply rooted, that I just hard trim them back every few years. Tomorrow is the day for their hard trim. I laughed while you were under the euonymus. True gardener right there!!! Thanks for great videos.

Hey Laura! I'm a huge fan. I was just thinking you should do a tree video in the summer. I always see big beautiful trees in the background and I wonder what they are. I know some of your trees give you trouble as far as pests go so maybe a couple of care tips can be included. With all the new tree additions I figured you could easily do a video just on your trees similar to that video you did in that parking lot. It was lots of fun to see all the trees. My husband and I are looking to buy our first home and I look at the outside just as much as the inside.I see lots trees planted right up near the house and I wonder what kind it is and if it's ruining the foundation. Anyways it was just a thought have a good day! :D

Check with your local extension office or university with agriculture programs. They will have lots of information on what trees are best for your arrea, pros and cons. Its possible they will even have an arboretum where you can look at the trees. In my area, Utah State University has an amazing website for trees.

My grandkids help when they aren't busy with school & sports. Love all the colors of flowers you have. I'm in San Diego,( the hottest part of San Diego) which we call East County. Its been between 99° & 75° . We got a little bit of rain but that only lasted a day. I myself perfer sunshine🌞 LOL There is much more land out here & the houses aren't ontop of each other LOL. I'm hoping to get my garden as pretty as urs. I just started a veggie garden for the 1st time so Im excited to see how that turns out.

Unfortunately you were not there. We did have a nice look around and I felt like I have been there so many times from watching your videos. I knew my way around like a pro 😊. I did buy the sweetest 🐝 plant pot, it was on a shelf when you come in the door. Your parents have a beautiful garden centre. The staff were very friendly. My husband took a pic of me out front holding my pot. It made my day!! 😊 I also got a picture of your gazebo in the park, very cute. Your town was having a street fair? Anyway I just had to share and say I’m sorry to have missed meeting you…..

I love my Fiskar shrub rake. I saw you using one a couple of years back and have bought them as gifts for several friends. Also happy you can get replacement heads for them. Saves a little money. I have learned so much from you about pruning. Sure makes the process less intimidating. Thank you.

Much better! We've had some very strong winds here in North Texas lately, and I was worried about my weeping willow, too. So, I took after it with my loppers and got rid of a ton a branches, which may find themselves turned into a trellis here shortly. My husband was so impressed with how much better it looked, even though I thinned it out quite a bit. Now, we're enjoying it's beautiful shape and movement and hoping a lighter canopy will help keep it in the ground. It's my favorite tree. ~ Lisa

Nice job, Laura. The euonymus looks so much better and the structure of the trunk is quite attractive. Love the white birch near it. The willow is so beautiful. I noticed one side is higher. Perhaps taking out that branch would lessen the threat of wind damage and the canopy would more even when it fills in. It would be a shame if you lost that gorgeous tree. Everything is looking so nice. The daffodils and tulips are in their glory and isn’t it nice to find plants popping up that you think were gone. Spring is just such a nice time of the year.

I love to see pruning and cleanup - something about this is so satisfying. I think a nice rock on that garden stone area would add interest (agree with Aaron’s suggestion). 👏👏

Ohhhhhh🙀there you are👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I was really “jonesing” for your channel 🤣🤣for about 3 days🥲I’m glad your showing us how to prune the butterfly bush. I’m in 6b Michigan and I cut mine back all the way down just like you did. I do this every year on Mother’s Day weekend and like yours comes back full of buds and flowers every year. Thank you Laura for all the lessons we get from you……..even us old dogs😂😂😂

It was nice to see you maintaining your existing gardens. Might want to move the peony. It'll be swallowed up in no time by the juniper. Also curious if you'll be composting anything this year. I'm a much much older gardener with two acres in established gardens. I compost the softer clean-up piles and bag the rest. So far this year, I've gone through 80 lawn bags with the tougher limbs. In Georgia, no one is allowed to burn anything, which I wouldn't do anyway. My azaleas are in all their glory now as well as dogwoods. My white loropetalums are in full bloom as well as the more common red/purple ones. All my annuals from Proven Winners and White Flower Farms should arrive this week. Think about composting with so much waste coming from maintenance. So good for the earth :) We gardeners need to be role models!

I'm down here in Susanville Ca and we are getting snow and horrible wind today. But hoping to get out next week and get some things in the ground. We have a wonderful greenhouse that is operated by the Mennonites, they have wonderful plants, they open for business on Friday...yeah!!!
