I'm less than 5min in but I looooved the last tour so I'm guessing I'll love this one too 💖 I hope I'll be able to have a beautiful mature garden like your parents one day!!! So much love, skill, blood, sweat and tears have gone into this - and to think they only recently started putting drip in 😂 how did y'all do it!!!
"how did y'all do it!!!" I know! This is a real question that I have as well. They probably had help with the really big things, but still! It's not like there's a staff of gardeners, haha. And they both work! It's really incredible.
With the looks of the grounds , it's likely they had a nice size crew come in to put in all of what you see installed.. BIG MONEY was definitely spent (or not?) to create all those areas , multiple fountains , levels etc..nicely done too

Your first video tour of Laura's parents' garden was my very first Garden Answer video about a year ago. I fell in love with your channel and glommed all your back videos in one weekend. I'm so thankful to have found your channel. I've learned so much and discovered new plants that bring me such joy.

I struggled when we moved to our new house which is 90% shade and when I saw the last tour of your parents garden it was such great inspiration and this tour as well. Being able to see it all at maturity is super helpful and I have a new appreciation for shade gardens. Simply beautiful! Thank you!
Yeah it can be difficult being sure witch plant will be ok in a shady garden but mine is all sun so I grow slot of sun lovers like sunflowers

Wish you and your mom could have done this tour together. Her yard is so pretty. I could walk through it several times; it makes you think of things you could do to your own yard. Just delightful.
What I liked the best, was the way they have designed the layout. I think they knew what they wanted and went for it! Thank you so much for sharing. Seeing all the mature plants is a big help for those of us with much smaller gardens, we can eliminate certain ones because we now know they are just too large for our space. I think this is what I love about garden tours. I miss being able to walk around and just size up plants. Happy gardening. Aaron, thanks for the aerials. The perspective is much appreciated.

What a beautiful, peaceful, terraced garden! Now I realize where you get your enthusiasm from. See a spot of land and you have to fill it with plants and create a special area. No place is safe. Ha! Just beautiful!
I can't imagine how amazing it must have been to grow up here on such a beautiful property with such amazing parents that really cared to put together such a beautiful home for their children, I don't know what that was like at all! This must have been a childs playground! As a child who hardly touched grass I would have been hard to bring back inside! Your parents have an amazing eye for landscaping and how to bring it all together. Having beautiful childhood memories of plants and being surrounded by nature, that's the dream! I can tell you're so fond of this place and are happy to be here. The house is so beautiful too tucked into all the green. I would totally 100% trade my entire childhood for this one haha. I've been jotting down all the kinds of roses I've seen here, those shades of pink with the lush deep greens are wonderful. Parents with an orchard! That's the dream. This was such a dreamy video.

It seems that the garden has a lot of shady areas and yet there are so many beautiful things growing meanwhile here I am struggling with what to plant in my shady areas :) Definitely lots of inspiration!

I've been catching up on months of youtube I've missed so to try to speed it up, I've been watching in 1.25 speed. I put this one down to normal speed so I could really take it in. And I'm not sure if it's because of that or Laura, if you really do seem to be speaking slower and really seem calmer than usual here. Then in the end of the video, you tell us that you are able to truly relax here. I feel like it came through. The whole video I was like, "Am I just getting used to the faster speed or she chiller than usual?" "Did she have a gin and tonic before this video?" HAHA! I like you either way. And of course, your parents garden is absolutely beautiful and so cozy and so peaceful. Amazing property and views and lovely garden spaces. UGH I need to get out of my condo and get a yard so I can start putting my dream garden together. For now though, I'll just live vicariously through your channel.

Now daughter is carrying on the knowledge and love of gardening. She is amazing, and we get a chance to watch everything grow even her lovely children.
