- This is the fourth video in a series called "Jewelry Collector Stories" - a casual series where we'll share personal jewelry stories and celebrate the connections they create.
I created today's video "Episode 4: Wedding Jewelry" to celebrate my second wedding anniversary. We will look at my antique engagement ring, vintage wedding band and earrings.

Something blue 😍 my favorite pieces! “Sixpence in the shoe” I’ve never heard of! That’s pretty cool.
Thank you! The sixpence *must* be silver, which means it must be minted prior to 1920 to be 925 or better. After 1920, the coins are 50% silver content. It is also tradition for the Bride's father to place it in her shoe for luck! 💖

Your going to laugh, my husband and I don’t have much money at the time of our engagement. So we went to a pawn shop and got beautiful rings for 1/3 of the cost. But it’s what we could afford at the time. (It was my idea lol
