Vaillant can be proper picky! I called Baxi out to a Main Eco heat I installed about 18 months ago, pcb gone. The came Monday and the guy couldn't programme the new board, even with his laptop. He's had to order one direct form production. What chance do we have in these circumstances 😅😅😅
Nice to see a bit of charity work but surely you understand why Vaillant didn’t want the job. I’ve seen too many of these jobs and a week later there something else goes wrong and you’re doing that for free as well. Good video
I think vaillant should off done that job, maybe they saw too many fault and thought it fixed price repair is one repair not 2 or 3.The job is pretty easy, i saw the fuse spur turn on at the beginning when you where removing the pump, couldn't see at the end. Also you didn't need to replace the whole diverter valves, just replace the cartridge inside the diverter valve, thats if the motor was good. Good job with removing the pump, top off my head two screw underneath the boiler and the bracket cones out. The vessel plastic connection broken on me once and now i be extra careful when touching that. Good video, only thing i would say if the camera was slightly higher so we can inside the boiler, looks like it was chest height.
Hi Chiraag. Are you able to tell me where you get the old style pumps ? I cannot find them new anywhere and have to spend close on £285 for new pumps that don't even have speed control ! Thank you
are vaillant repair guys taught to be the way they are? are they overworked? was the boiler not registered ie you get me right?cash fit cowboy?. i didnt see previous vid was it serviced? they must have told the customer why. is he not sharing all info with you? this always gets me on installs why the drain off on return, enligten me if you can. condensate trap looks dirty so not serviced. and if your not getting home till 10pm your too cheap. there is a balancing point. i am an avid trackdayer i take my bike to a track. if you dont know there are many gas safe vans in the paddock. go look at some trackday forums where reps(glowworm and vaillant) have been slated down for exactly the same reason noone wanted their stickers. i had an f75(external error years ago on a boiler i fitted) confirmed by vaillant to be a pcb production problem. i booked the appointment for replacement.customer phoned me while i was on a ski lift saying engineer was going to dump the job. the boiler was fixed by them. long rant but have you considered just not fitting their boilers? i could go on they dont publish reiteration "improvements" some of them being power on diverter valves to power off. they just winging it :) same boiler they change the goal posts. Lamp Master you'll never ever ever be out of work.Your videos are awesome and educational and so are you.👊
@@rickysheldon4355 thank you 🙏🏾
Hi, you can take the screws out from underneath which hold the metal bracket in, take prv out and can slide pump off without removing divertor valve.
Thanks mate, but I had to change the diverter as well anyway so wasn't an issue 👍🏾
Shock a big company taking the piss out of a customer. 🙄
Yup! 🤦🏾♂️

They definitely are! I've not had any issues with Baxi so far 👌🏾
Great job, look after yourself watch those stress levels
Thank you mate 🙏🏾
Fairplay for starting that pump and manifold change at that time mate.
Haha thanks man 👊🏾
Fair play to you, doing that at 20:00 in the evening
Call me crazy 🤣

Considering the parts cost them hardly anything as it's their own product I can't see why they can't keep their word

@@hali5341 thanks for the feedback 👍🏾 glad you enjoyed
When those vaillants fail the do fail quite epically sometimes but that said they are great to work on……well thought out engineering 👍🏼
Yeah I love working on them too 👌🏾
Nice job mate. I’ve had vailant back a job as boiler was 2 steps up a ladder.
They’re a bit soft and lazy at vailant I think.
Yeah I've had to go back for repairs quite a few times. Vaillant's customer service is shocking from my experience
I get the silent treatment when I'm working that late
😂
Swapping aav would have done fine
When you say "first things first" what exactly are you doing in the boilers menu mate? I can't sus it out from the video. Thanks mate!
Getting into installer menu and putting the diverter into P6 👍🏾
@@cputilitysolutions oh right, makes sense, thanks
If you put vaillant in P06 when you drain down it puts the diverter in mid position, so gets most of the water out.
thanks
Thanks I done that 👍🏾
Excellent 🌺🌺🌺👍👍👌👌
Thank you

My supplier still has some of the older style pumps left in stock 👍🏾
