As a Youthberk fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this video and your analysis. The deck is too expensive for me to play in my country (costs around 650 to build the deck in English) but I’ve been playing with proxies and learning about the deck. I like the section about mulligan, gave me a little more insight into how I should play my hand. I usually go by this rule: “grade 3s, triggers, all back in” and then play by ear. Usually I don’t have issues finding my pieces (revolforms and sequana) as far as I could remember there was only a very very small number of games where turns weren’t optimal. Love this series, keep the videos coming!
Awesome guide as usual, really appreciate this one as a Youthberk main. Your build is near-exact to the one I am currently playing (I was never comfy with the builds that only play 1 Maple since I think Maple is a 2 or 0 copies kind of card), and while I understand the Cairbre + Enucleate build it's just not my thing. Surprised you didn't talk about Vriede (the 10k shield G2) as another option since two copies of her is what I've been running in my build in place of the Reedys. She helps with the early-mid game if I have her by just being a G2 I can call without issue, or if she's in hand she's just a 10k shield that makes guarding a bit easier. Might drop her for Dolgraig when Set 9 comes out though, but I shall see.
Even though it’s like t2 now this is still my fav deck to play. I just don’t vibe with Jet or Eva and overlord promo is hilariously expensive and inaccessible. I hope that youth gets some support to bring it back to tier 1 next set in Japan
hi Derick, first of all thank you for everything you do for the vanguard worlds, you are great!! instead of the 2 maple in my list I decided to try 2 decisive ax dragon, and I must say that they work very well in combination with reedy, what do you think?
Great video, do you think there will be any changes for set 9 ?. I personally like using the other g2 knight you mention, I am think about adding the new grade 2 in
love all your guides man. gotta say the maple music in the BG is chef's kiss
Loving these guides. Thank you 🙂

Would love to see a Gramgrace build
I think caibre is super important for the jet matchup for the early game and being able to sometimes add ur one of elementaria pg.
Love you and your videos ❤

It works well as it had guard restrict stacked with triggers under Reedy's effect. Another card to also consider in the Youthberk deck :)
I have the Cairbre build and I want to put dolbraig in the deck. how many should I put and which cards should I take out?
Test with the numbers first to determine how many is best suited for your deck.
do you ever order a schneizal attack before tempest swing to give tempest +5k to make a 23k single drive?
Yes. Especially if you don't have Sequana to give 1 drive which sometimes pops up.
@@TheDerickDao thanks for the reply :) it always feels weird to swing with schneizal first for this when i run fronts...

Dolbraig is a pretty good card I feel.
I normally run instead of maple 2 cairbre and the 10k gaurd g2 instead of the Sb increase trigger g1
