I do that sometimes with my mt03 (basically same bike as yours just different handle bars and fairings). if I don't press the shift pedal up hard enough I'll think I'm in a higher gear and end up revving the shit out of the gear I'm still in. I sometimes also forget just how very short first gear is, and ending up revving the shit out of it as well. I look down and I'll be doing almost 30 in first gear... Only been riding about 6 weeks so far, and I'm loving it!
Haha yes man I love to hear it man, I’ve been riding for about a year now and I haven’t looked back since. My dad has a MT-03 matter in fact. I’m actually looking into getting a Yamaha R7 as my next bike and I can’t wait for that!!
Oh, absolutely! The Yamaha R3 is an amazing choice for beginners. It's got the perfect balance of speed and power to get your heart racing without being too overwhelming. Plus, learning to ride with its clutch is a breeze, especially if you haven't tried it before. You'll feel confident and in control in no time.
i've been riding 15 years and the R3 is the most fun bike i've ever ridden. you know the saying, its better to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. i have way more fun in the corners on this thing than any 600. i'm even passing noob 600s in the corners. 😄
That unintentional down shift is cool when happens, most of the time because you shift up with the pedal too softly and the pedal just slip down xD
