Buen video, estoy viendo por encima los comentarios y creo que a lo mejor se centraron en el pacto, pero independiente de ello, gran audio pensando en que es un torneo con mucho ruido. Saludos desde Chile.
he controlled the nbecrotic ooze with asmodeus and skirge familar in the other guys yard he would have been able to draw his library and pay for the pact just saying
Interesting. It was the k’rrik player that knew and jammed anyways. But then again the game doesn’t get better the longer the game goes with k’rrik. The naus could’ve been game ending lol
weird that you guys even consider allowing pact. alot of pods have a respect of no king making and no stopping a win if it takes you out. Personally my pod and other stores i've seen just respect that it isnt right to stop someones win by taking yourself out because your not winning and your stopping a player who worked for a win and lost it because you suicided. Maybe me and the people i play with are too nice or don't see what you guys see. still interesting game
Thanks man for your insight and your respectful question. In tournament play, every win is 5 points and every draw is 1. Adam offered the draw and John said he wouldn’t take it. In essence the other players pact in hope that the game would stall out to time in the round for a draw. It’s a tactic that some of our newer guys struggle with. We don’t encourage king making and this was a rare unique situation that drew this odd dilemma out.
@@TurningPointMetaSituations like this make me question tournament point systems. I feel like it's king making k'rrik if neither opponent pacts, but neither has incentive to suicide pact. A suicide pact of neg like that should give draw points even if there is a winner (or alternative winner) at the end of the match. If exploited, the person who suicide pacts every match would be countering win attempts that would still be countered with a different spell if pact was substituted, and therefore wouldn't be affecting a match's potential outcome.
both ken and rogsi had pacts and rhystics, as the kenrith player i would have said we all loose or rog si can pact, as rog si had other turns to draw a way out anyway. he got strong armed to take the 100% L
This was definitely a game of All time, it’s kinda rough to just lose, I definitely think Kenny casting that pact is completely a losing choice for them, the more interesting choice is the poor play patterns of the Capt player just completely disregarding a Rhystic in play when they can pay
Rhystic is a tough one and an existential choice we all have to make. Arnt we all just afraid to feed the fish irl. Dare to be bold. Do we get our game plan on line and feed the fish or sit back into a long game and do nothing. I think feeding the fish to make sure the other blue players get cards and deal with k’rrik is admirable and a reasonable one.
@@TurningPointMetathey offered k’rrik to not king make honestly. K’rrik said he wouldn’t accept the draw. Super interesting game. Lots of talking points. Thanks TPM 😊
In a pick up game, I’m with you 10/10 times. But in tournament play don’t pact and 100% to not make finals. Pact and play for the draw and you got a 25% shot. I do appreciate your opinion though. Always good for thought :)
There is no EV for casting a pact there. Either way you die. It only makes sense if you have an opportunity to win on the stack. Or play stifle effects..

necrotic ooze sorry
@@seanburns7854 lol I don’t understand k’rrik lines. I will take your word for it. I just edit and put things on the internet. :)
He wouldn't have had the ooze in play though, when Pact triggered. Because then the owner of the ooze was out of the game and so was their ooze.
@ yeah stinking crazy. Some many things goi g on with the game.
Cast the Pact all day. He knew he had it and still did it. Next time he won’t. He could’ve waited but decided to make that game action instead.
Interesting. It was the k’rrik player that knew and jammed anyways. But then again the game doesn’t get better the longer the game goes with k’rrik. The naus could’ve been game ending lol
Pact and play for your outs. That’s the difference e between cedh and edh. Play to every out. And that was the out.
Simple
@@TurningPointMeta yeah but you can’t be surprised or even caught off guard if you force a king making situation and then it actually happens lol
All consenting adults. Possibility is there. They made their decisions.
pact when you cant pay is spite play.

Yeah man it can be tough sometimes. How would you fix the issue moving forward if you had the ability to?
As a krrik player it’s I understand the pain of this everyone is scared of him all the time 😢
That’s because he can win so easily. lol love the deck tho
Hard to interact with the wave of win attempts
Glad to see all these people talking about king making, this is total BS
Thanks man.
Lmao pact taking names like always
lol for sure an interesting card
So we not gunna talk about the Dswat that should have hit his imp recruiter
@@Ripped369 maybe I’m missing something. How does swat hit an imp recruiter?
You use the deflecting swat, to redirect the target of saw in half to point it at imp recruiter instead of his kirrik, you get to double tutor
@@Ripped369 ahh I see. Making his k’rrik was what he was concerned with. But thanks so much for the extra line. Very helpful
That animate dead mat is beyond sick, where’d you get that?
@@evanbond3745 yeah it’s pretty sick. I’ll see where but I bet the artist has some on his website
Why didn’t the K’rrik player exile 7 cards when he activated the draw 7 ability?
@@lordndrew pretty sure he did. You can blame it on me. I might have missed something or cut out that right part in editing.

Rog si said he wouldn’t pact: Ken played for a potential draw instead of a 100% loss. Difference in tournament cedh then regular place.
you don't have to pay reconfigure with captain america lol. just go to combat and attach it with his triggered ability
You are 100% correct. You know how it is in a high stakes game. I bet people won’t forget it next time.
@@TurningPointMeta idk if it would've mattered, but idk what he had in hand at that point
Yeah idk either. Thanks for the heads up
What are the deck’s strategies and main win cons??? Helps new players. Like what the heck is captain america doing lol
Speed, midrange combo, beats, speed. In that order. After that you’d have to stick around for a deck tech. We might do one on the captain soon enough.
@@TurningPointMeta ok cheers
Love the format with the stack discussions. The Blue Pact was not a real play, considering he knew he would lose. That was just kingmaking/griefing
Tournament magic. Play for the possibility for the draw. 1 point is better than zero. Different mind set. Politics can get messy though.
@@TurningPointMetathat’s a tough one
In most tournaments is illegal to collude against someone attempting to win, the spite play was cringe and lame

lol nah.
😂
🤣
honestly they shouldve stopped arguing and taken the L. that was a clean win from krrik and they kingmade instead of letting it through.
Taking the L means no finals. Pact means they could’ve drawn. Difficult dilemma.

i mean its kind of griefing to pact there, like in cedh you play to your outs and there really wasnt any there for them, just kinda troll imo
Play for the draw was their only out. It’s an interesting dilemma

Draw is the EV. Zero vs 1 point.
There is no draw opportunity here..
Mattie and John are both incentivized to kill Adam then just go heads up for a winner.
There is. The clock is only set to a specific time.
Sounds good 👍
