Hey Bro, just did the same on my crf, i put 1l of oil because it's what say the owner manual and the bottle of maxima oil is 1L. But the problem is, when i check the level oil, there is like 0,39 inch too much oil in the engine.... don't understand why because as you said there is no oil filter to hold a little bit of oil. Tell me what you think !
There’s always a small bit of leftover oil inside the engine when doing an oil change. Always under fill a little and then check the dip stick. Add until you see the oil start to appear on the dipstick and then run the bike. Check again and add more oil if needed.
