- I'm actually pretty bummed out that I never got to film this when it was original. This used to be a Monty with A-Series and a dry-powered motor EXACTLY identical to the one that the elevator at Downtown Plaza used to have. That elevator was what started my interest in elevators all those years ago. Unfortunately, it no longer exists, and I've since been trying to find a Monty with a motor just like that one. WELP! Looks like I was too late. This new elevator is still cool. Mitsubishi did the mod and the new motor is EPIC! And WOW a 10 SECOND startup!!! I still wished it was original though.

Despite the annoying closing door buzz, the E-flat pitched motor is incredible!
I guess that door buzzer chime should replace the broken bell on the annoying freight elevator at KOP mall.

Normal doors will break especially when a cart is involved
@@Jowevator3219 I don't know why but I have doubts for that, in other parts of the world there's barely a pelee doored freight lift/elevator just normal big lifts with normally a 4 speed door layout and they barely have door problems. Could just be GAL doors not being good on freight lifts/elevators to be honest with you.
@@Jowevator3219 I forgot that I used to mess around in a Mitsubishi freight lift with normal big 2 speed GAL Mitsubishi doors at the Excel Centre in London and that hasn't had problems at all whenever I used to frequently visit there after school days.

I got same thing in my local Ikea store. It takes 13 seconds to start up! ELEVATOR IS GLASS THERE!

ALSO THAT DOOR ALARM IS OBNOXIOUS!!!! AT LEAST REPLACE IT WITH A EST GENESIS ON MARCH-TIME OR SOMETHING?? XD
In my opinion, the whole process is very slow from closing the doors, starting up the ram to opening the doors on another floor.
