howdy peeps and people its been crazy but i wanna share with you all a piece of history thats very special to me. A 5 ton military truck from 1969 www.loggerwade....
I love those old deuce and a half’s. I want to build me one with a personal carrier bed and convert it over to the super singles to ride around town in
You should check out the service life of that truck. It might have been on some special construction assignments. I’m sure the military has some records on what it did.
Hey Wade. Another possible nickname for the military truck could’ be “Mr. Green Jeans” what a fantastic old dump truck! Thank you for the ride-along and for the history behind the truck and the significance it has for you and your family.
It’s been a pleasure to think you and I are friends over these last 10 years or so ! I remember being about 16 the first time I backed over a tree with a 6x6 .I really thought that was something ! God Bless you and yours !
Thanks for sharing your time with Sgt. Pants. I love working with hand tools that my dad worked with, sometime I'll just open the old tool box pull out the tools and remember the past with my dad. Thanks again.
Wade, thanks for the ride down memory lane I spent my younger years driving those work horses we had log bunk's on ours and many loads of timber was hauled we run 6 of them, model years were 65 thru 76 if memory serves me right. Anywhoo as always God bless y'all from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯
Hey Wade, every time I see the family compound, I am so amazed at how nice everything looks. It doesn't matter if it's the lawns around yours and your parent's houses, the fence lines or the pastures, they look like you guys have an army of grounds keepers working there. I do know better though.
Haha thanks so much Roy its just us keeps the grounds up but we got good family to help and everyone pulls there loads ill tell them you gave them a pat on the back
Heartfelt H-D reminisce, Very Nice 👍🏻 Uncle says you would fit right into South Jersey Now HaHa riding around military Trucks thru the Pine 🌲Barrens ❤️🏴☠️🎥💯%👍🏻🔧🚜💰🇺🇸
A hillbilly drivin' around on a Sunday afternoon drinkin' beer (if that's what you call Busch Light) in a gen-u-wine army truck. Now that's entertainment, By God!
Nice old truck Mr Wade. Military vehicles are solid work horses. New subscriber, pretty place you got there. I’d like to think things will stabilize soon, but I think it’ll be another 2 years Atleast before we get any normalcy. Keep up the videos and take care.
A old Military Truck, with the Perfect Air Conditioning. The Truck wonderful, only a long People hav a Problem with the Knee the always in away by the Gearshift level, what is to see! But You drive all Vehicle, new and old perfect! Greeting 🇦🇹
Maybe 1969 but it's got everything it needs it can drive it ll grip it puts the weight on the axle means it will go anywhere Have you ever got it stuck
Bush beer!? For driving a farm truck… that’s just wrong. You need something fruity, possibly with a cocktail umbrella. Ya know, so you stay hydrated. :-)
Wade , tell Mommy not to worry about her 401 K . If she is still putting back the same amount of money every paycheck as she was two years ago , she has more buying power now than she did back then . She will come out of this with more shares of whatever she invested in , and when the market recovers , her portfolio will be worth more . Nice truck , but keep ol D.P. away from it !
Her portfolio will be worth more but the dollar will be worth less. 10% yearly inflation takes away a dime from every dollar you have saved no matter what the stock market does. What about us old people who are living off our IRAs? The loss we have to take from every dollar we have to take out when the market is low is lost forever. The government is spending money it don't have. That is the primary cause on inflation. It is a tax on savings, be it IRA, 401K or an ordinary savings account. Our savings lose value that can never be returned.
OMG, OMG, OMG how did I miss this? Day late and a dollar short. You've had Sargent Pants all the time 😱🤯 you'll need to break that out couple times a year 👍 to keep things lubed up anyway. Boy that would be sweet if you find the time to make a video. Though it might 🤔 your me time in which YT vids come in 3th er 4th on the list of priorities. Thanks for your time and vid.
Tator the old truck needs to be kept for the boys knowing its history. They're hard to find in that condition but finding a factory winch would be a good addition. Father in law has a clark air dozer with the factory winch and come to find out there's only a few hand fulls of them left in the country per the national registry.
Howdy Wade!!!!!😁 I acquired a couple of M-900's several years back, they are not as good as the one you got in my opinion. They have the auto trans but it robs a lot of the torque. They can't hardly pull a sick prostitute off of a toilet....... (family friendly, and politically correct, maybe?)🤔🤔🤔 Have a good one, enjoy that good ole truck!!!!
I have no idea why any Man would drink Light Beer!! Do you think 50 Woman in Bikinis around a Swimming Pool are going magically Pop Up? It's Piss Water Dude!
That's a slick truck. Couple farmers around here got them , they put grain wagons on them . They work pretty good, definitely tough . Have a good one.

I worked on a few of them. Went in Army in 63-69. Great trucks. Hope you keep it in go condition.
Oh yeah I'll spend some change and use it I don't intend for it to slip

Coming back assumes those in charge of government want things to improve. Currently it is sure that they do not want that.
Wade, did Big Momma kick you outta the woods and the mill?
Love it!
Better get that thing back to the dealer! There's recalls on the air bags and seat belt retractors!
