    Nice video and crossing! Wonder when the masts for the wigwags there were installed? At least some of 'em seem to be older than the rest of the equipment at the crossing.

      Thank you! They probably are from when the lifting barriers and road traffic lights were originally put in, though I couldn't be 100% sure. The wigwags themselves, alarms, and the barriers are all from the last ten years or thereabouts.

    I see you took a long distance shot of the signals from around 2:46, and that they still have some that display “flashing green”. Along that stretch, they were installed as a trial for the class 91 & Mk4 stock to allow them to run up to 140 mph. It was never fully commissioned, though, and nothing more than 125 mph is permitted with line side signals now - although the 80x ones are good for 140 mph.

      All correct. I wonder if 140mph will be enabled anywhere along this line come the completion of the East Coast Digital Project.

    This was due new alarms anyway. They've done one of them already. I wonder how long it'll take 'em to change the flat one...
